I do not believe that photons (i.e. light) can travel at any speed other than C...
You see light travel at speeds slower than C every day, light slows down in water, even in our athmosfere light doesnt travel at C but a tiny bit slower
Put yourself in the hooves of a bovine for two minutes as your offspring are taken away and you never see them again. Every year. For the duration of your life.
Some animals eat there own young, some never lookback at their young, a lot of animals never see there young to start with and some have a long term memory that lasts from midnight till 0:01h, you are thinking how an animal feels useing human emotions
You are an animal not something separate and special
yes we are special, we can pay for sex and we have the guns
i ran staroffice for a while and foud it verry nice but the 2 things that i dindt like was the windowmanager like interface and it was so slow so i switched back to apllix witch doesnt have all the functionality but is loads faster (and its not free), so i hope they made it faster
i need it to be small on the screen, it needs to be able to display all file formats and show file info as detailed as i want it at the moment i request it and i found it, its caled windowmaker, *term, (yes i like nice pictures) and a few line's in/etc/profiles 99% of the file managers outhere have a way to big(visualy) GUI and 99% of the things ppl do with them i do faster in a term anyway
I might be paranoid but I just live in fear for the day the first 'window manager specific' apps hit the net and this kind of application brings this day closer and closer

I takes me longer to download SP6. So you i can safely say unless your support team are a bunch of cleuless monkeys you dont Need a massive support team.

all i have to say is if you are develpoing linux software, at least make sure its linux native, and doenst need some emulator to run ! This kind of stuff is negative for the linux on desktop market.

Having some one copying the style of your gui for an other os should be considerd a compliment, it means a job well done. Second of all having your gui look and feel on an other os is a sort of free publicity. And I am realy disipointed in Mac for playing the big bully game.
