iLASIK is done with all lasers, one to make the flap that was previously done by blade, and the usual LASIK after that. Fewer reported complications than with the older blade style. At my six month checkup I was seeing 20/10 from my left eye and 20/15 from my right. I'm 48 and previously wore progressive lenses. They adjusted my right for a closer focal distance.
It's crazy but my hearing is excellent at 48. That's after ~30+ years of blowing them out with Lemmy and other noise. I'm sure one day damage will just arise.

Some apps have jailbreak detection and will not run, or issue a warning, on jailbroken iOS devices. An app called "Divide" used for keeping work data via MS Exchange (mail, contacts, calendar, etc.) separate from your normal stuff is one.
I was suggesting that the bulk of the complaints are likely coming from cabbies.
Michael Peevey mentions "safey rules" but then goes on to 'lacking airport permits, as well as lacking proper "trade dress" on their vehicles and lacking proof of insurance.' Ok, lacking proof of insurance I can understand. So carry papers in the glovebox and all is well. Airport permits? That's just money denied to the airports. I'd wager the complaints that are not from cabbies are from the airport authorities for this very reason.
Trade dress? Fine, slap on a cheap magnetic sign. That is not a safety issue.
They dress is up as "safety rules" but the real motives are financial.
Not to sound cold, but this type of situation a good example for why you should make a living will.
Does this poor lady want to go on tied to machines or does she want to be unplugged? The choice should be hers, but without knowing her wishes, that makes it a no-win situation.
When anything has a claim to fame of "trying to be better than $GOLD_STANDARD", I am skeptical. There must be very compelling reasons to not just stick with what is tried and true. ZFS is the cat's meow, "trying to be better than" when we're talking about something as critical as a filesystem... I'll wait and see, thanks.
I believe they recently announced Star Wars theatrical releases for BluRay.
If it's possible to play this back at 24 FPS, we can shoot that 3 minute homemade porn we've always wanted!
Neat idea, but shouldn't they be concentrating on the game and not playing "Learning my ABCs with Mickey"?
"Machinery" is from 1947. Back then you didn't type your code, you wire-wrapped it.
Become the sole developer for Blackberry app!
How does "sycophant" work here?
If you want to see my surgery from the surgeon's end of things, Here you go!
Yes, they gave me a DVD of it.

It all just works, I love it.

Google SSL... Now with a side channel for ads.
Linux isn't UNIX. Apple is the largest UNIX vendor in the world.
This is why Apple should resurrect its ZFS project. Overnight they would be the largest ZFS vendor to match with being the largest UNIX vendor.
In the olden days, they'd round them all up, lock them in a barn and set it on fire. Now it's a ~disability~.
The gravy train is only a supersized meal away!

"We have heard numerous complaints that (our) safety rules are being ignored,"
Yeah, the cabbies are complaining. I would guess non-cabbies love the service.
It's a double negative. In reality the wireless chargers work flawlessly.
they'll still keep a list of where you've been on the phone..
Settings -> Privacy -> Location Services -> System Services -> Frequent Locations -> Off
There are several good privacy related options in there.
Of course I read this after my sandwich was late.
Sorry, sweetie...
I'm busy F4'ing.

Come to the 21st century, use ZFS.
I do wonder how long his popularity will last after his death.
Who are we talking about again?
