Yep, been there, saw the trailer, downloaded all the fan missions I could. I'm an admitted Thief Addict.:) Try it with LCD shutter glasses in a dark room (nvidia has generic 3D drivers for DirectX and OpenGL).. it'll eat your weekend.
I count 163 things (well, wc -l counted it) on that list of things they want prospects to know. Obviously that job involves too much work and would interfere with reading/.
Anyone that applies is obviously beyond geekdom and is to be pitied.
Apple always seems to shit on their customers, at least from the lower echelons of their support and management ladder. Once word gets to someone with real power the problem will likely be remedied. How often does/. carry an "Apple craps on customers!" story only to have a fix in a few days?

Stallman's GNU/Linux operating system is not the target of SCO's suit. Linux, the program SCO is targeting, is not an operating system, but only the kernel of the GNU/Linux operating system, which could run using a different kernel.
It's refreshing to see mainstream media getting it right.
It's expensive to send water to the moon. Also Earth is pretty much a sealed ecosystem (although we get tonnes of stuff from space every day) so every time we send water to the moon we've removed it from the Earth for good. It's not like the christian myth of Noah and the flood where water can come and go at the whim of a deity.
I run OpenBSD on my desktop at work and whatever servers I need to set up (other than smp machines which get FreeBSD) Off the top of my head here's nothing I can think of that I'm lacking.
It may take a little digging around but usually you can get what you want. Certainly there isn't the hand-holding aspect of other OSs (unless you count "RTFM! RTFFAQ!" as hand-holding.:)
Oh wait.. I just thought of one thing. off to misc@openbsd.org..
Swell, Stallman will be rocking in his chair, picking fleas from his beard
and muttering "GNU/SCO.. GNU/SCO.. GNU/SCO.." It's like a strawman
argument against the millions of free software users..
I agree. Replace it with "Did you see the new Radeon 9800XT benchmark? Wow!" and it comes full circle.
No, it doesn't.
Buying a product based on benchmarks and product testing shows good common sense. Buying overpriced sugared water or sneakers because an NFL/NBA/Whatever star promotes it is being a mindless sheep.
Do people that buy a $30 football jersey with their team's logo on it look at the craftsmanship of the item? No, they see the logo, a drop of drool forms and they pay for it.
This is also why Microsoft WANTS there to be an enemy
Umm.. In the enterprise db market there is a little company called Oracle...
With the 20" panel down near desk level it will still require less depth than a 20" CRT monitor.
The screen moves up and down with tilting, you needn't view it like you're in the first row at the theatre.
Apple is poo, Apple is good.
Geez, where's my lithium...

Indemnification from who and what exactly? That's like offering supernova insurance, only suckers will buy.
Hear, hear! Drop it on the France!
That would be a shame if the last pictures Hubble transmitted were white flags.
"How And When To Kill Hubble"
Professor Plum will use the candlestick in the library next Tuesday.

/me mutters something about "the best legal system money can buy.."
Why not just create CD players with proprietary audio-out jacks that aren't compatible with computers.
.. but are compatible with standard stereo equipment? Please explain how you would accomplish this feat.
Yeah, like, uh, sunlight?
No, debris from incoming meteorites, etc. Hundreds of thousands of tonnes of it come to Earth every year.

That means no brewery on the moon. So much for my dreams of being a drunken astronaut.

Conspiracy theorists take note, Apple's sales in the UK are up 36%, so far, this year.
.. sure, but I'll also note that The site www.itc.org.uk is running Microsoft-IIS/4.0 on NT4/Windows 98. It's a ploy by Microsoft to bring that 36% number 'under control'..
..where's my tin foil hat?
