    As I recall, supermajority be damned, they couldn't break a filibuster. And they didn't have a Senate supermajority, either, they were one short at 59. Are you creating some sort of meta-congressional supermajority of all members of both Houses to make your case look good? Cause if so, it's irrelevant to making the case that Democrats had a total lock on power in the 111th Congressional session, becaues they certainly didn't.

    Sure it does, but the employee has to prove their case. Likely only a fraction will persist pursuing that point.

    To me this looks like she thinks the remote workers are a safe group to layoff without increasing the unemployment rates Yahoo pays. Workers who quit don't get unemployment, and workers who refuse to quit or relocate are insubordinate and can be fired for cause and also don't get unemployment.

    Even an incompetent reporter should know that a planetary shield protects against orbital bombardment from capital ships and is not a kinetic barrier to ship movement.
