Which version are you using? Here in 3.6.10 on Windows I've got the option to "Clear History when Firefox closes" with it's own settings dialogue to customise what gets removed. I think you have to select "use custom settings for history" in order for the option to appear.
Some people don't care as much as the average Slashdotter about tracking but will still clear their cache and cookies once in a while. It would be better (from the advertiser/tracker's point of view) if they didn't do that as it makes you (a bit) harder to follow.
Movies: Trailers, reviews, friends. Live a little dangerously - take a chance that you might not 100% enjoy a movie before you rent it or go to see it.
Seriously, your justification for piracy is that the risk of the very occasional lemon that sneaks through is too much? That this is such an impact on life that taking without paying becomes legitimised?
That and the legitimisation of the shark infested waters that are the advertising and promotion industry.
Worst are the games that you can get through Steam that also come with Live. GTA IV came with Steam, Windows Live and Rockstar Social. Utterly ridiculous.
what i'm really hearing is that the next Hubble should be a binocular telescope.
I'm guessing here - but I'm sure someone could do some calculations to back me up... I don't think that would work. To get a decent stereo effect the two lenses would have to be some distance apart. I have two eyes but I can't tell the difference between the distance to the moon and the distance to the sun and that's quite some difference. In fact the whole sky could be one flat image as far as my eyes can tell.
The summary says that they've used a lot of artistic license. I am guessing this means they have exaggerated the difference between what each eye sees based on the known distance of the object. Either that or they've used one image from one point in Hubble's orbit and one image from the opposite point.
You mean like those bendable glasses (spectacles) are made of? The ones you can sit on and not break. The ones that have been around for long enough to be known by the layman.
both are nouns, and describe a general class of objects.
...but only one is trademarked.
And what about iRiver that was founded two years before the first iPod was released?
No - the Earth can't jump.
Maybe you meant "Hurtle".
"UFO" merely means "unidentified"
And "flying". And "object".
The GP/GGP was specifically talking about using hidden form fields.

Also how would hidden form values persist when clicking on links? I imagine you'd have to set up each page as one big form... It doesn't sound ideal.
Who needs a laptop? I sat at the back doodling in the back of my exercise book and playing squares and word games.
But *no one* else does.
I do on my PC. A lot of the higher-range audio interfaces use firewire.
Guns are for show. Knives for a pro.
There are shades of gray and the people claiming either side is black/white hurt both sides... Meh...
Pretty much a universal truth, that.
DRM in action.
I could care less.
Fair enough. I'll shut up then!
Is wolfsrc.zip not the source of Castle Wolfenstein?
Were you reading the article, Rhaban? Or were you looking at a woman on redtube.com?
Look again.
Indeed.
Fortunately I live in a land of blind people.
Well, it made me think his grasp of English isn't as good as I otherwise would have.

For God's sake, Jim. He's a doctor not a nerd.
It doesn't.

For example, when I started to play string bass in 4th grade I asked if there was a "left handed way"..nope.
Huh? You could buy a left-handed bass. Or string a right-handed bass left-handed, Jimi Hendrix-style.
I know a couple of left handed guitarists. One plays left-handed guitars and can't play on a right-handed. The other vice versa.
