I wonder why console makers even bother with buttons anymore. A part from hardware shoulder buttons, the rest of the controller could be one big multi-touch screen with vibration feedback. That way developers could have as many buttons as they like, placed however they'd like them.
I'd recommend the King's Quest series or Grim Fandango. Great puzzles, it's cartoony, it's funny and you can play together by helping her solve the harder puzzles (Grim is "harder" than King's Quest I think). Space Quest was pretty cool too.
May I recommend checking out www.gog.com 's selection of games, I'm sure you'll find something there.
Phones are more or less just like computers these days and what's the main gripe of technical support when a user brings in a broken machine? A: There's tons of shit software (malware, spyware but also badly coded applications) installed on it.
This has nothing to do with what app download service you're using and has all to do with users and what they install.
When's the last time you had a burglar get into your house, not take anything and leave a note saying: "I just wanted to show you how insecure your house is, here's how I easily got in..."?
"Another feature of the service will give Call of Duty players tools, modeled on those from stock-trading websites, to analyze their performance within the game, gauging factors such as which weapons have been most successful for them in killing enemies."
So they're charging us for something that we already get for free on Gametracker? Or are they breaking an existing functionality by denying us usage of such sites?
The summary's almost longer than the actual article.
They checked in a minuscule bag and it never made it. Why? What happened? How could the system be improved? Etc.
Is this crap what passes as journalism these days? At least Fox News are longer and have more information, false or biased information, granted, but more of it nonetheless.
I don't see anyone suing Beretta when a gang-banger shoots a cop and I don't see anyone suing Ford when a drunkard runs over a child either. Although I don't agree with how the Cisco tools were used, Cisco doesn't really have a say as to how others use their stuff... SONY should pay attention here...
And now do the same study but have them watch a movie and you'll probably get similar results. Munching while doing a sedentary activity is pretty common.
Although I do agree that Terry was in the wrong, so was the City for its bad procedures. I just don't think that the wrongness he did is worth 1.5 million dollars.
Guy locks out everyone from the City network after losing his job due to his perceived moral implications: gets a 1.5 million dollar fine.
Guys cause Worldwide economical downturn, massive job loss, massive wealth reduction to the middle and lower classes: get multi-million dollar government jobs.
I'm with the parent on this one, the tax system is way convoluted and can't be fixed easily.
In some European countries, filing a tax report consists of entering your social security number, putting how much you made in a box and specifying whether or not you're married/have children. That's it. The system then spits out how much you owe, or the government owes you.
If CSI taught me anything, it's that there's a traffic camera picture of the person having purchased the VISA gift card that the authorities will use to run a visual basic interface on it to cross-check with their "everyone on the planet" database.
I still have my original Nintendo, my N64, a PS2 and they all work perfectly fine without any internet access. Why do all of the recent systems always require a connection? Maybe I'd like to play while my internet connection is down or maybe I just want to play in 10 years when your online system doesn't even exist anymore.
I paid for the system and the games to be able to play whenever I want, I bought hardware, not a service god damnit!
She's a consumer, she got a high paying, little doing lobbyist job out of it. NBC and Comcast are consumers of something and they got a good way to screw over their customers.
So there are the benefits to the consumers, you just assumed that "consumers" meant "regular people".

The whole team is disbanded and replaced by HAL 9000.

Well, it would seem that no arrest actually took place... Lulzsec don't know who the guy mentioned is and the FBI themselves said that they didn't arrest anyone.

Europe.

I'm all for getting prisoners to work, however they shouldn't be exploited (by this I mean working ungodly hours, not being paid for it is fine).

Not quite as awesome as the augmentations in the latest Deus Ex installment, but we're getting pretty damn close.
Gotta agree with you. However 1.5 million still is excessive.

Within 30 minutes, people are going to realize that real court is nothing like Law & Order and will wonder why the process is dragging on so much.
I thought the Swiss were always neutral, when did they invade Belgium?
While everyone is focused on the middle east, the Swiss are taking over Europe!

How can that be? It's the cloooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuud!
So Lysander7, you're anonymous?
I know nothing about hacking, but if Halle Berry's giving out blow jobs to those who try to hack SONY, I'll certainly try.
There already is
