    This is especially true if Google doesn't just cave in to "Big Pharma" and allows you to see "alternative" or "herbal" remedies for prescriptions or OTC drugs you have entered. Big Pharma as opposed to... alternative, herbal remedies? Give me a fucking break. The "alternaaative" and "herbaaal" industries generate billions each friggin' year.

    I don't know about you, but if I'm dying of cancer one day - likely, since I'm a damn chainsmoker - I want my meds to come from people that spent years studying and have letters before or after their names, not some hairy-legged, lesbian shebeast that reeks of patchouli oil... waving a damn dead bush around and chanting about my chakras being "out of alignment".

    But, I would have to say, when you actions lead to someone being beaten, jailed, and forced to use the same dish to eat and shit, then you can be sure your action was evil. If a Google employee wasn't beating the guy, I guess it's A-O-K with Google. ;)

    Honestly, I don't give a shit. Sucks to be Mr. Indian Dude, but I've got my own shit - life, city, county, state, country, bastards, and bills - to worry about. Save the mawkish indignation for someone with the time to care about not caring.

    Google is a faceless corporation that will do whatever it needs to to keep the profit machine humming along. Once a company goes public, the soul dies.

    Individuals in Canada are restricted in the amount they're allowed to contribute to political campaigns. Same in the US of A. Doesn't matter.

    Corporations, unions, and other organizations are not allowed to contribute at all. Really? Wasn't aware of that. Interesting. :)

    Here's the deal: The ISP is going to produce a bullshit report that will be taken as The Gospel Truth from the Mountain that was Hand-Delivered by Moses Himself - by those that matter, anyway - and it will be used to justify each and every new attack on the proles.

    Do you honestly believe that politicians, who need contributions to get re-elected, will bite the hands that feed them? American, Canadian, African - it doesn't matter.

    Because it's cheaper to buy an existing product than to reinvent the wheel. Obviously. However, as I said, there appears to be a time factor here that isn't being publicly stated. I'm sure the Chinese government could easily produce their very own "sound weapon" if they so desired.

    Later they may decide to reverse-engineer, Later? Ha! I'm sure they're ordering enough to deploy and RE.

    I would be absolutely shocked if the PRC doesn't already have existing teams whose sole function is to RE stuff.

    but even then it's cheaper to buy the blueprints. Why buy when you can steal? ;)
