If the junk didn't go to China or Africa, where did it go?
How can you be sure that whoever you sent the junk to didn't just shove it in a container bound for China or Africa?

One company buys another for one reason, the second company has something the first company feels they can make money from.
Wrong, wrong, wrong, and wrong.
Those selected companies did what they did to make money. They do not give a shit about me, or you. They care about profits. I find it insulting when they pretend they care. The only thing they care about is my money.
I am not trying suggesting that they should care about me.
Where the porn industry leads, the rest of the tech world follows.
It happened with the internet, it happened with DVD players, it will happen with 3DTV, and it might happen with Flash.
As a BIG fan of the book Starship Troopers. I can't even get through 5 minutes of that movie. The book is brilliant by the way. Very thought provoking, if you have not read it, I suggest you do.
That said I have a very large collection of Craptastic movies.
I have noticed the same thing after an extended session of GTA, I found myself driving much more aggressively, and at least once I thought "I could pull that guy out of his nice car and be out of here in less than 10 seconds."
I am running Win7 64 bit, on an Athlon X2 3200. I don't hate it. It runs OK. The only real issue I have with it is when I try to find something in the control panel, and they have moved it for no good reason. I really wish there was a way to go back to the Windows 2000 control panel.

I can confuse Windows ME and Windows Vista. :)
I believe some Sun hardware used EFI as well. At least until Oracle.
