    I was under the impression that all of the "work" that the Kinect does is done in the software not so much the hardware and that the hardware itself is an over-glorified web-cam.

    I really hope I'm mistaken, because the Kinect has a ton of potential

    To generate artifical gravity it is based off of how fast you are spinning and how far you are from the center. The IIS is too small to get 1 G you would have to spin really fast then you hit the problem where there will be a different amount of gravity between your feet and head. According to my HS physics teacher Odyssey in 2001 was too small to generate gravity properly all the blood in the astronauts body would pool at their feet.

    When it was announced they did say there was going to be PC support as well, and IIRC it is listed as a feature of Win8 I have no idea about Win7 though

    I can't explain it very well, but the reason China buys so much debt is because it is part of their currency control. Basically by buying debt that temporarily removes their currency from the market, which allows them to print a lot of money but avoid that pesky inflation business. I think that's about right.

    Do you have a link to that pod cast? I'd love to know how much the writers had planed out. The first season is the greatest TV I've ever seen, first half of the second season continued that, the second half is where it started to change, and it was only ok. The Third season I dropped shortly after they escaped from the planet. I saw a few commercials for the Fourth season and those lead me to believe that I made the right decision to not pick it up again.

    Honestly I used Limewire until very recently because Limewire is still better for downloading single songs. I stopped because I stated using Pandora.

    Back in college in one of my lecture it was mentioned that on one of those networks that you could easily filter out all files of a certain size something like 95K of which over 99% were viruses (one of about four flavors) and that will eliminate something like 80% of the viruses and files on the network.
