Graphics -- nVidia shares their driver base between all OSes, and Linux is actually used on a majority of high-end CAD workstations.
Indeed. Compiling their drivers is still much more hassle-free than compiling ATI drivers.
E.g. nividia - [x] works with -rt
[ ] works with kvm
ati - [ ] works with -rt
[x] works with kvm
opensource - [x] works with -rt
[x] works with kvm
If I have to choose between kvm and -rt, I'm picking -rt.
Ubuntu is a Unix with nice features (drivers and -rt) and an excellent GUI (KDE4 + Compiz + AWN). Use it instead. VMware Workstation is close enough to VMware Fusion for me to not care.
It has all the music-streaming I need and nothing more (music videos belong on youtube). I use it to upload my midi2mp3 compositions. And IMSLP for the scores themselves.
And their licences are CreativeCommons-Attribution-NonCommerical-ShareAlike I don't really care which version: it's not gpl2 vs gpl3
Because they're too attached to the preproccessorex and compilerex.
I actually notice the difference between under 9000 and over 9000 FPS, you insensitive clod!

the font on the picture reminds me of the TTC font, for some reason.
ppc != x86
You'll need to hack an ibm p-series blade server for ps3/x360 code to _somehow_ work.
As opposed to x86 code on an x86 machine.
hightly intellligent children are labelled with ADHD or hyperactivity when the truth is that they are merely bored
You're right, they're just bored Aspies (myself included).
My C skills are IOCCC novice. Were it not for my obsession with C, this wouldnt've happened.
On the other hand, I tl;dr language courses because the readings are fucking boring.
Epic agree. Instantaneous feedback lowers my typo rates and a lack thereof increases them.

That, and grsec patchset. I tested it on a Athlon XP and it kills a forkbomb after 32000 forks.

Does this mean that I can get degrees from the faculty of /b/?
XP supports Age of Empires 1 quite nicely.
Unless the puzzle games have Win98-isms, they should work fine in XP.
