Damned straight it does. I used to run my own server, and it was a PITA trying to keep ahead of spam. Since shifting my domain to GMail, I see maybe one spam a month.
How many times have you seen an old, embedded system with a bunch of proprietary electronics in it and thought, "well that sucks". There are people out the still selling this kind of solution for unreasonable sums of money, and the Pi can often do everything they do, and do it better. It can interface to practically anything, and it's so cheap you can keep spares on-hand to replace any failed units. Hell, you can even assign one unit to poll all the others and report failed units. Configuration is a dream too. Just a matter of putting the right data on the SD card they boot from. These little buggers are/exciting/.
Relax. Tony Abbott will tell you that "climate change is crap". And Tony is a widely-respected climate scientist. Right? What? His degrees are in Arts and Boxing, you say? Well, give the guy a chance, OK? He knows what he's doing. He told us so.
It's a step in the WRONG direction. Why should a kid be forced to learn an Asian language? Suppose s/he has Italian or other antecendents, and wants to be able to speak to Nonna? Or a a passionate interest in the classics, and wants to learn Latin or Greek. It's a big mistake to build in more mandatory components to our education system. We should be making it more flexible, not less.
I wonder how many of the people who argue against surveillance cameras would be so principled if they were ever to be the victims of violent crime. It's my bet that they'd be the first ones screaming for the footage. Go ahead and take my picture. I doubt it's worth looking at and there is, in any case, too much video for anybody to bother studying more than a tiny part of it. There really is no use for it other than catching criminals. It's not that I trust our government, but I do know that they're not a totalitarian regime. And if they were, there's bugger-all we could do about surveillance anyway. As long as the cameras contribute to the crime clearance rates, I'm fine with it./Australian
I would propose that the next time a "Justice" declares himself to be "calling balls and strikes", that we rename his title to "Umpire", as "justice" is orthogonal to his self-defined description.
Freeloading? If that was his only intention, he wouldn't have troubled to set up the evil twin. This guy is serious trouble, and you don't want him on your LAN.
You might think so, but by the measures used in Australia, they get away with commercials that seem way too loud to the listener, and then they're all "Oh, it only *sounds* louder, but it's perfectly OK". And the stations get away with it. Because they set the rules. I just hope your law doesn't permit that.
This. If a language is seriously flawed, don't use it. Why? Because every project you get out there increases the burden of unmaintainable crud that future generations will be forced to bear. If you persist in using a bad tool, even in the knowledge of its many flaws, you're committing an act of unmiitigated evil.
There are strategies you can use to work around this mindset. Set aside a room exclusively for use as an office, and "go to work" each morning at the same time. And don't touch yourself during work hours. I mean it, don't... ah, why do I even bother?
In fact, he probably should have. The accessibility features of Android are almost non-existent, and Android devices are pretty much unusable for the visually impaired. iOS has it all over them there. And I say this as an Android fanboi.
Unless she is getting her degree in the humanities, there will be parts of the lecture that include equations, graphs, and diagrams that are hard to input with a keyboard. Nothing beats handwriting for that sort of content.
... ahead of a smoker. Or a PHP developer.

Or Little Creatures. Mmmmm.
Oracle employs autistics exclusively.
I'm OK with it as long as it's not in freakin' PHP or JavaScript.

So, bad drivers, the ones who get in accidents don't just use cell phones, they drive more wreckfully while using them.
FTFY. Unless you meant recklessly that is.
Also, as head of the AMA, he opposed death with dignity laws. And as a doctor, he once denied his sick brother the same. The man's a dick.

And set his pay scale accordingly.
I'm still mourning for RareWare. N64 on standby,
Better yet, a lightsabre. Then you just listen for the pitch and volume of the hum.

Hell yes. Not just a robocaller, but a karaoke robocaller. What's the new gig? Nigerian spammer?

Silverlight sucks too. Believe me, I've been developing in it for over a year.
Sounds like they shipped the remote ahead of the TV. It's especially useful if you watch Fox.

Or, you know, a photograph of the whiteboard.
