Most never return to above replacement once they drop below it.
1: Most haven't yet.
2: Who the fuck cares? If the economy is so fucked that you depend on an ever increasing pyramid scheme to keep it afloat, then the sooner you correct it the better. Humans would be better off if the human population declined to 1 billion or even fewer. There are too many people and not enough resources (and when there are enough resources, they're hoarded). If you're having trouble supporting your aging population, maybe just don't? Why do you worry about some old coot who treated their kid(s) like shit, or didn't have any and didn't plan for their retirement? Why are you so afraid of them becoming destitute, poor, or homeless? You sure as fuck don't seem to care for the rest of the adult population who is destitute, poor, or homeless already. And you don't seem to want to fix the problems facing your younger generation. Young people can't afford to have kids and buy a house because there are TOO MANY PEOPLE already.
Does it? Then why for all that money, report after report indicates something is wrong with the system?
Yes, it does. Does it shock you to learn that throwing endless amounts of (MY) money at things doesn't magically fix them? Are you starting to see how once you determine something must be fixed with loads of someone else's money, the problem is only incentivized to grow?
Ah, somebody thinks that TPTB won't drag this guy through courts with bribed judges until they win or bankrupt him, or, failing that, just fucking kill him.
If you appeal, whoever issued the strike has a set amount of time to respond.
If they don't respond, your video is reinstated and you win. If they do respond, they can either drop the claim (your video is reinstated and you win) or reassert it. If they assert it, you have the option of saying you're going to court. Once you show YouTube you're going to court, your video is reinstated and you win. YouTube doesn't care - they just care about not being on the hook for abetting copyright infringement. Once it's in the hands of a court it's not their problem.
If you actually follow through, and the copyright claim is bogus (either outright fraudulent, or your video is fair use, or whatever else), you'll win. Easily. In fact, for 99.999% of cases you'd never have to go to court.
And YouTube doesn't pay the people making videos to be in a position that makes videos, nor is it regular employment, nor is it a task, nor is it work for hire.
It fails all of those tests.
YouTube publishes their videos and, if they get any views, people can choose to run ads on them and get a cut of the ad revenue. That's not a job. It's not even gig or contract work. It's exhibition.
Buying games was not harder than pirating them. Steam didn't make buying much easier. In the first several years, Steam was known as a Steaming PoS. It was awful (and still is today, but for different reasons). Having more digital stores doesn't make things harder, either.
Digital stores make it easy to install/update/uninstall games. Piracy goes up and down based on how willing people are to pay for shit. A lot of piracy is for older titles that people can't buy, can't find their copy of, can't find updates for, can't get working on a modern system without a crack, etc. Digital stores can remove a chunk of that as they maintain people's libraries for them, generally sell titles forever, and do in fact reduce prices for older titles. Otherwise, people pirate shit because they don't want to pay for it.
The characterization in Other M was entirely in line with how the character was portrayed in the manga, which is canon.
Samus has had pretty much no other characterization outside of that. In the first 3 games you don't get squat for characterization. You finally start to get something with Fusion.
Metroid Prime is not canonical. Aggressively so, in fact. It was considered to not be a "real" Metroid series. Until it sold well, then they walked that line back a bit. It's now a "real" Metroid series in a different timeline/reality/whatever. In Japan, this is "gaiden" status. It's a spin-off and is not treated with the same respect or held in the same regard as the main thing. Perhaps today's video, which included a shameful "we had to give it to the Americans because we can't do it right" admission means their attitude is changing in that regard.
I'm sure we don't need to get into Hunters or Pinball. Zero Mission was a remake of the original and Samus Returns was a remake of Metroid II.
The only other things we had for characterization were Nintendo Power comics and the Captain N TV show.
The worst thing about Other M was the combat (the dodging mechanic made it pointlessly easy) and "the baby". The "pixel hunt" portions were dumb but I didn't have a problem dealing with them. In terms of characterization, it's the most we've ever gotten for the character in any of the games, by far. It's totally in line with what's canonical for the character. There's no reason to think Samus can't be afraid of Ridley, or shocked to see Ridley again, or shocked to realize that the stupid little bird thing turned out to be Ridley / Ridley's clone / Super Mecha Cyborg Zombie Clone Ridley.
But the Ridley reaction is the one concrete thing people go to all the time when they want to complain about the game. Because the complaint that they started out with - MISOGYNY - was too absurd to gain much traction. People literally complained that it was misogynistic that Samus, when working with a military unit, had to follow orders from her CO (a man) and not just unload with all her fucking weapons. It was a stupid plot device to prevent the use of her full arsenal at the start of the game, sure. But it's better than just starting her with the suit and no abilities (not even the fucking morph ball) every damned sequel. The characterization of her and Adam fits in with canon, and even ties into Fusion. Her reaction to Ridley fits, too.
He "did his job" by nominating someone and never fighting for their confirmation, then never challenging the "wait until after the election" bullshit.
It was Obama's job to appoint someone. He should have kept appointing people and should have raised a big fucking stink about any delays. It's literally one of the few duties the President has.
But no - he made a half hearted attempt and said "fuck it" for the last year of his second term. Democrats and the media didn't care because they assumed Hillary would win and they would just pick up from there.
The woman that was killed wasn't on the bike, she was walking the bike, and she didn't "dart" out in front of anything. She jaywalked, and should have fucking looked to see if it was clear, but the car should have seen her and stopped, and the human driver should have seen her and stopped. The video they released was doctored bullshit, and it has been proven many times over that the area is well lit and visibility is good at night.
Yup. Ridden in them hundreds of times. Marine infantry.
The downdraft is considerable, but the many small rotors on these aircraft produce less than a single big rotor on a conventional helicopter. They are also much lighter, and need less lift.
But a conventional parking lot shared with cars is not going to work. They will need dedicated pads.
Having many smaller rotors won't matter - the force and work involved are all pegged to the mass of the craft. Have you seen the size and shape of these things? They'll require wider clearances than a standard chopper.
Of course he has the right to do this. All he has to is claim that it's needed for national security, and to declare a national emergency about it. Remember all those emergency powers you granted past Presidents?
Trump does have exactly this ability with regards to the wall, and people have been expecting him to go that route. He's stated unequivocally that he has the power to do so (and he's 100% correct), but that he would prefer for an actual bill to get passed. It's effectively his nuclear option, and it would start a whole new level of shitstorm that no one is prepared for.
As for Mars, if a President really wanted to get it done and had an unlimited budget to do so, they'd tap the military to do it under the guise of NASA breakthroughs, ingenuity, and gumption. I have no doubt in my mind we can get someone there in a couple of years. The military has propulsion, guidance, and control systems at least 2 generations ahead of what's available publicly. But it would be a huge fucking waste.
Most never return to above replacement once they drop below it.

And my public education only gave me #6 from that list. We didn't even have real driver's ed.
Does it? Then why for all that money, report after report indicates something is wrong with the system?

How's life at Starbucks?
Yore
Correct. If the prosecution got their hands on such a recording, they'd have to somehow get it admitted into evidence to do anything with it in court.
If the recording then led them to other evidence, such as evidence the defense was withholding, then too fucking bad.
Ah, somebody thinks that TPTB won't drag this guy through courts with bribed judges until they win or bankrupt him, or, failing that, just fucking kill him.
The JYT. The link is to the right of the headline, and has been for a long time now.

No, Steam had its daily maintenance the day BEFORE yesterday, you moron.
Nothing beats a hit of krokodil directly into the genital region.

Rather than release a pile of crap on us you've chosen to lose in the short term to keep the franchise strong in the long term.
Keep in mind they released fucking Metroid Prime: Federation Farce. They can't care too much.
The characterization in Other M was entirely in line with how the character was portrayed in the manga, which is canon.

It all fits, whether you like it or not.
As usual, ICANN hasn't thought that far ahead and doesn't care.
Trump can't pardon him until he's actually convicted of something.
Wrong.
You don't watch a movie on a projector, you watch it on the screen the projector is aiming at.

Anyone wanting such "reform" is a fucking moron.
The Senate exists because we are a union of individual states, you fucking imbecile.
The STATES deserve representation just as much as the PEOPLE do.
We already don't need the Senate, and there are already proposals on the table to push a constitutional amendment dissolving the senate.
You never go full retard. You're not going to get many nibbles for this bait. Go back to Trolling 101.
