You stinky PM shower fuckers. Too many polite people around to tell you that you stink.

If you shower in the PM, your bed won't be a pile of dead skin and bacteria. Further, I don't work up a stink while sleeping, while sitting in my office, etc. If you do, it may be time for a diet.

I bet your linens are oily, sentient rags at this point.

Do you see how fucking retarded that is?

Google needs to provide the updates. Carriers need to fucking deal with the fact that customers don't want their bloatware. As far as firmware and drivers for specific hardware go, that shouldn't depend on or impact Android updates.

  4. Government services do need to be paid for

Try telling the UBI idiots that. They think money grows on trees and that the government has all it needs and can just literally give it away.

I think the contention is that government is wasteful and needs to be spending less money and focusing it more on useful services.
People are sick of paying for boondoggles like CA HSR. Many people are sick of paying for failing public schools, for road maintenance that never happens, for welfare and healthcare for irresponsible people, etc. It's not that these people think services don't have a cost, it's that they think the costs are out of line and the services rendered are not worth what the taxpayer is taxed, or even that many services should be cut entirely.

I remember Amtrak reps coming to my school and telling us how great the CA HSR project would be, to talk to our parents about it, etc. It was under the guise of a railroad safety assembly.

This was decades before the 2008 vote, before CHSRA was even formed. I enjoyed voting no on it as I recalled the stupid assembly with an over-excited lady in a cartoonish train conductor costume asking kids where they'd like to go on a train.

Of course, CA being CA, my vote didn't mean shit next to the masses of fools who bought into the obvious boondoggle.

My SOP when voting is to vote no all new taxes, bond initiatives, etc. Maybe one day if the state/country isn't squandering obscene sums on useless shit I'll grant them fair consideration for such proposals. My guess is they'll continue to subsidize water for idiots who grow grapes in a desert and ship the wine to a separate continent, increase welfare programs, fail to tax megacorps and the very wealthy to any appreciable degree, etc. all while failing to maintain roads or improve public education. So fuck 'em.

  11. Getting rid of the static, semi-transparent station logos is trivial. You just get a clean copy of the logo and position it on a new layer and find the difference.
    Plugins exist to do this.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to cleanly get rid of the giant TV-MA or whatever rating at the top left, or the absurd promos for other shows that intrude on the show you're watching.

  12. Welcome to the mid 90s, Google.

I remember using plugins for VirtualDub that did the same thing with video.
All you need to do is recreate a decent representation of the watermark, and the plugin simply subtracts it from the video.
Bonus points if you dynamically handle opacity so you can handle fade in and fade out.

This was done to remove semi-transparent station logos from the bottom right of TV broadcast recordings.

It's used to describe someone (usually a man but not always) whose partner fucks other people (or other things), typically while denying the cuck sex, making them watch, or making them participate in an ungratifying manner. There's a whole fetish category for it. In the fetish realm, cucks often enjoy their pathetic role, which is likely why the word is now being used so frequently to target liberals and SJWs who are now falling victim to their own policies and becoming the targets of their own campaigns.

  20. Not really, because the timing scales for everything. Like I said, you quickly get used to it. Dropping down to 1x seems like I'm watching in slow motion now.

YouTube has built in options at 1.25x, 1.5x, and 2x. I watch at 1.25x for anything longer than a couple of minutes, and often bump it up to 1.5x.

Sometimes I crank it to 2x until it gets to the part I care about if I'm worried about missing something. For example, if I'm following a tutorial I don't want to skip around haphazardly but I also don't need to sit through the shit I already know.

For Netflix, the addon I use lets me choose in increments of .1, I believe, so I normally do 1.2x to 1.4x.
Of course, I wouldn't watch Game of Thrones at high speed.

Just try 1.25x on YouTube for a bit and a similar setting for Netflix/etc. (there are tons of addons that do this). Weigh the impact it has on the content vs. time saved.
