It doesn't need to be endorsed by a university, a learned society is sufficient. My highest cited papers have been published in the open access 'Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics' which is run by the European Geophysical Union, its nowhere near nature or science in impact factor, but it is a respectable mid tier journal. The writer pays up front for hosting/typesetting etc the cost of which you put into your grant.
Its much more open than a traditional journal. They publish the initial submission, the reviewer comments the response to reviewer comments and the final paper. In addition, members of the scientific community can add comments in the same way as the reviewers, albeit not anonymously.
Albert Einsten the famous botanist? There are no stable crops that are pollinated by bees.

I'm sorry I did only address the first boming, with regards to the second: There were three separate coup attempts and the cabinet were still debating what to do, so a significant proportion of the army and navy leadership were willing to continue the war anyway, I think there was also some debate as to whether the americans only had one bomb. The second bombing removed any ambiguity as to what the allies could do and what they were willing to do. If we have 250000 deaths/month in the empire and the 2nd bombing only brought forward the cabinets inevitable decision to surrender by a week, it would still be death neutral, and its far from certain that decision was inevitable.
The co-propersity sphere was a vast area of the earth, the soviets had only invaded Mancuria in northeast China. It would have had little impact on the divisions in southern China, Burma, south east asia, the east indies, the pacific etc.

Every month the war was continued hundreds of thousands of civilians died across the greater east asia co-properity sphere. So if you didn't nuke or invade immediately you still end up with loads of dead civilians.
You're thinking of the event horizon. The singularity refers to the point where the laws of physics as we currently understand them won't give a meaningful answer i.e. the gravitational field becomes infinite.
The Royal Navy essetially stamped out the slave trade throught the world. And the empire abolished slavery at least a generation before the US. And it has never been legal in England so go fuck yourself you ignorant bastard.
The women that founded women's refuge in the UK was demonised and started receiving death threats for suggesting that much domestic violence was reciprocal and that some women sought out abusive relationships. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E...
The battle of New Orleans was after the peace treaty was signed. Britain wasn't trying to reconqueror the colonies, it was trying to stop its Candian provinces from being conquered by an aggressive expansionist empire while at the same time trying to win a world war against a genocidal miltary despot. I think it suceeded quite well.

This is utter bullshit.
Its probably closer to one tenure-track job out there for every hundred PhD holders, Philosophy or otherwise.
In academia we called those people 'professors'.

That's what they want you to think.
...or the Welsh. or the Cornish. or infact most people from England excluding the anglo-saxon hotbeds of Yorkshire and Norfolk.

I'm pretty sure half the population of Poland are males, and I'm sure they like dancing too.
That's alright, I think 33 is still "early 20s".

You seriously think the Russian navy could have stopped Britain or France?
Yes, the scientists were very shellfish.
Who was trying for independence?
Firstly, there is no queen of England. Secondly it would have been the queen of Australia that did it.
Yeah, but what about Scotland?
I think you mean the newly independent Orkney Islands' oil.
Well, No. Because he's not German.
Its far less strict than the 1936 purity laws.
Too soon?
Downton Abbey was ITV.
Although its just a good idea generally to tell people you're Canadian.
