    They use text advertisments. Entering in a phrase like "domain" or "digital camera" will result in sponsored links above and to the right of the normal search results.

    This seems like the hydrogen version of the Microwave powerplant (Satelite in space sends microwaves to a recieving dish). Now, if my Sim City serves me correctly, this will ocasionally misfire, setting fires and causeing general disorder in the city.

    I've seen the "ultimate linux box" articles before. What I wish they'd write is the "affordable and reliable linux box". In other words, just tell what's a good sound card for linux, a good video card, etc.Just hold on to those articles for a year or two, then you'll have a "decent" system.

    The actual speed from AT&T is 128Kb/sec (note the small b) which for most practical terms will come out around 15 KB/sec (large B) depending on network usage.

    If the room is on an outside wall, simply closing the heat register in the room should keep it quite a bit cooler. This will also work for interior rooms, but not as much.

    The scale of the bridge and the material that it is made of are not the issue. The bridge built by the Norwegians follows the same structural design as his bridge.

    I had the Mediaone Express service until a moth ago when I switched over to AT&T@Home. Neither service block my use of port 80 for my webserver. I know that AT&T's TOS says that you can't redistribute the service to others, or do anything else disruptive to the service. So, my take is that a small website on your computer is no problem, but running a site like CNN is going to cause trouble.

    Should I dare mention the pornographic uses of this thing? I mean, people enjoy looking at 2D pictures and go nuts over 2D movies, I can hardly imagine what sort of response a 3D image of a person will recieve.

    The current law iirc is that an ISP is not responsible for what there users do, if they are not aware of it. So, perverts in Florida can trade their kiddie porn if AOL doesn't know about it, but once it is found out, they must put a stop to it.
