    Well TBH it has been tried but it'll need help from COngress, so it's not 100% Obama's fault. Of course what is his fault is promising something that he could not necessarily deliver on.

    But aren't those engines NOT made to be restarted?
    if it's shut down, it stays shut down.

    Seems odd they would design it to be able to be shut down midflight. If say a part malfunctioned/errored and caused it shut down when it was not supposed to be.

    Why do you think this is a good thing?

    People always could get private health insurance, only now they are required to. Private insurance will run you around $100/mth if you're a fit young person, and that's usually for a high copay/deductible plan.

  6. Unlikely, if they did that they would have to have a whole set of NEtflix only discs pressed, and another set for Redbox, and another set for whoever else might offer a similar service.

    Much easier to make 100k discs of the same type; than 10k of this one, 15k of this one, 5k of this one.

    Exactly... OP does not know his history.

    Steam existed since 2004 and had little to no discounts, other then what we had seen previously. Then in 2008 Direct2Drive was started to get some traction and their sales being reported on; suddenly in Dec of that same year Steam has it's first Steam Sale.

    After a few years of this Amazon soon started having their sales too; and now it's SOP for all the shops.

    Actually many of those denies will recognize it on a short term, or micro level, such as in this case; but somehow refuse to recognize it on a more macro level. Never heard them give the thought process behind this, other then sound bites.

    Sure, it'd be nice to only record the accident, but how will it know when to start?

    If it could detect an accident 20 seconds in the future, why not warn me so that I don't get into the accident to begin with?
    You'll have to record everything since you never know when someone might T-Bone you at an intersection.

    I guess you could setup some ranged motion sensor to only record when there is movement within 100ft, but that'd be quite a bit more complex, than just a HDD that you could have wipe week old video.

    It WAS one of the greats, readership has dropped off over the years; and it's kind of outdated in it's subject matter.
    Even before the health issues, the comic would get an update once a month.

    Which would be even worse for him, since right now it's only a threat with no confirmation, if he thought doing that gives MS and Sony access to each other's copyrighted material, he'll be fucked.

    And even then, so what? He's got a lot of proprietary SW that requires proprietary HW with it to be usable. Unless he's going to handout the PS4 and XBone hardware dev kits too.

    Except for those consoles, the Dev kits are both HARDWARE and software.
    Any exploit the "scene" may find may not be usable at launch. Software dev kits are purposely made to be more open.

    Yea, you can bet after this last gen Sony and MS will require all the code to be signed.

    Sure, but Dev kits are also much more open than a release console. They need to be to let the Dev run unsigned code of their own while it's being made; any exploits you may find in this code may not be usable in the final product; especially since the consoles are possibly still being made.

    And even then, why release it to begin with?
    Had he kept quiet he might never have been caught, by putting it out there he all but guaranteed his arrest.

    Also what good is the Dev SW for a PS4 or XBone without the hardware? We already know what the HW will be like, does anyone give a shit what SW the consoles will use? The people who could make use of it, developers; already have their Dev kits in hand.

    Sure, but at the end of the day, the effect of gravity diminishes with distance, something that might work on the plane may not then have "enough" of a gravitational pull to make it work on the ISS.

    YOu can see this with fire, when a match is struck on the plane it'll look the same as on the surface, but when done on the ISS, it behaves differently.

    Hey what's it like not knowing that gravity's effect is inversely proportional to distance?

    The degree that gravity will affect a liquid is greater in the plane then it would on the ISS, since the ISS is much farther away.

    ALso it's relative. You and everything on them are still under the effects of gravity, you're just falling at the same rate as the craft. The physics of liquids such as would be used by a 3D printer would not be accurately comparable to being on the ISS.

    Also how many pedphiles do a general search via Google for CP?
    I assume they would have their own set of sites that would try and NOT be easily found by a random person or law enforcement. The Abuse team at an old company of mine would get reports of CP, and often times the server Admins would not know, as the server was compromised.
