Yea, I think this is basically the same thing, just electronic.
The inbox of both could get stuffed, but you wouldn't see someone getting sued over getting a lot of letters. Sure there may be a service disruption, but then there would be too for a letter campaign.
Everyone is suing everyone else, minimal innovation is happening and when it does it's from some upstart who gets buried the moment it makes a press release.
That Man destroyed himself, and after a long time the apes developed and filled our place. Even with super smart apes I don't think that the apes would have stood much of a chance against a real effort by the humans. The bridge scene was their first real encounter, the military/police did not know what they were up against, now they do, and if not for the virus they could have gone into the forest and wiped them all out. They could have just dropped some kind of chemical/biological weapon in there and let it kill them off.
Plus the girlfriend wasn't too believable. She had been with him for years, but in that time she never wondered what he did for a living?
He's a researcher at a bio tech company, and you're surprised when he A) experiments on animals, and B) the super smart ape you've been around for years was one that was experimented on.
It's implied that there is soon to be the outbreak of disease. The pilot/neighbor showing the same signs as the animal handler from the lab, while hes in a busy airport. You know it was only going to spread from there. They were about to have an epidemic, last thing anyone would care about then is some apes that caused a lot of localized damage and ran into the woods.
A shame really, as a guy I'll have to start trying stuff on now, I have bought too many clothes that did not fit right.
I frequently find only about 1/3 of the clothes I like fit correctly, I'm a large and will get that size for maybe even an XL, but when I go to put it on it will feel like a M or maybe a S.
I cannot see them ever phasing out the desk/laptop.
Fact is there are professionals that need the computing power they provide and it would not be feasible to incorporate that into an iPad.
At best I could see the iPad being a "remote" for them. Let the desktop do the heavy lifting and instead of a monitor send it to the iPad to interact with, then back to the desktop.
Yep, Lucas considers it the worst one of the trilogy, and at one point wanted to fire Irvin.
As I understand it the producers and studio heads did not allow Lucas to do a lot of stuff he wanted to because they felt it would either be a bad idea or too costly. But once he got free reign with the first three, well... We all know how those ended up.
I think we should get rid of SW patents altogether. I'm sure there are some genuinely inventive people out there that may get taken advantage of, but at least the one taking advantage could use it; right now you can patent it and lock it up to never been seen or heard from again.
Considering how stifling these SW patents are currently, given the choice of a "Wild West" of SW patents and what we have now, I'd much rather have the Wild West version, if simply so that they could get used and further innovated on. Locking them is a hindrance in the long run, and hurts as as a society/industry.
Plus there was a town that setup their own community ISP because the local one (Comcast) simply refused to provide the service they were wanting. And I think in Minnesota where they passed a law banning community ISPs, by saying they needed billions in assets before being given a license.
But wouldn't normal use necessitate that the factory image be modified?
How do they know I did not reformat and install a clean version of Windows 7 vs. uninstalling all their bloatware; or that I updated a lot of the software. Are they seriously going to insist that only they be allowed to perform reformats; would my computer at that point effectively be a console?
"We're sorry, but you are only allowed to install/uninstall Dell/HP/etc... authorized software."
Furthermore what if the HW issues is preventing it from booting into the OS, such as a failed drive, will they attempt to fix it and upon seeing you are not using an authorized OS put it back the way it was?
I believe those "4G" are meant to denote the 4th generation network; and not actual 4G the standard since it's not been finalized/implemented yet. That's why like every carrier has a 4G network, but use different technologies; there is no standard for them to actually adhere to.
3G and CDMA are actual standards and for a carrier to use that title it has to adhere to those standards and use certain technologies.
4G at this time is just a marketing term meant to capitalize on the fact that everyone was touting their 3G networks, and T-Mobile decided to one up the others.

Just FYI, chances are your local Jiffy Lube is where you can dispose of your used oil.
At least in my area, most auto shops will do it for free or a nominal service fee ($2).

Gonna go get my popcorn and watch the whole thing implode.
These patent lawsuits are getting out of hand.

That was my impression of the first movie too.

Final Fantasy?
Not that great but seems like it'd fit your criteria.
Yea, that's how I saw the original film, that we destroyed ourselves and only had remnants remaining from our civilization.
The apes over the years then eventually developed and took over what we left behind.
Plus at the end...
***SPOILER***

I found Dead Space 2 to be much better on the PC then the first one.
It's been a while but I think I did have to fiddle around with the option menu a bit, but it was certainly playable while it's predecessor was not.
Cant you get out of your contract without penalty for that now?
isn't there some kind of 45 day grace period where they are required to let you out if the terms of the contract change at their discretion?

That's the part that made me LOL.
And besides, couldn't much of the damage of the attack been mitigated with even minimal effort in internal security?
Agreed...
What makes Spotify think that they wont get sued, or that Apple wont update iTunes and disable this function?
FYI those caps went into effect today.
I never received any letters or emails about it though.

Same here...
I got both a 10mp Still and full HD Camcorder, yet for a webcam I'm stuck with a grainy 1.3mp webcam.

Why make an image of how it was when you bought it then?
Surely you go ahead and grab all the drivers and other necessary software before you wipe it.
What would be on the default image that you would need later, if you're going to be wiping it regardless?

From the pics on Google it looks like a normal Torx screw.
You can pickup a screw driver for it from Home Depot for under $5.
