I see no difference between Islam and Christianity. The Taliban behead, torture and bomb the innocent. The Catholics burned women at the stake. Religion is a curse on humanity. The sooner we get rid of it the better.
You're an idiot and did not even read the summary carefully.
Let me summarize TFA for you. Chrome does not have a search box, only a single box that is used to type URLs as well as queries. Therefore, even if you don't do a query and type a simple URL, the entry is sent to Google. Whereas in IE, only characters entered in the search box are sent to the search engine and the URLs entered in the address box are not sent to a search engine.
But seriously, I've never used Google to search for news. I have a list of all my favorite newspapers (and news sites) bookmarked in my browser. Is this not what most people do? I would expect this to be the default behavior if you wanted to move from paper based newspapers to Internet based.
Why not connect each vehicle mechanically to each other and to the lead vehicle? That should take care of a large number of technical and engineering challenges.
My experience on the Mac is approximately the same as on XP. Most of the time I don't have a problem in enter/exit hibernation on the Mac. But once in a while (a couple times a month), I can't get the login screen upon opening the laptop lid. Then I have to close the lid and open it again a few times before it works. And a couple times a year, I do have to cold boot when just nothing coaxes a login screen.
Then, sometimes it also takes a few minutes for the wireless connection to get working and occasionally I need to cold boot for this to work (though this might be a problem with my router).
Overall, same experience as when I use the XP (as far as getting in and out of hibernation is concerned).
At first it looked to me like 367,382 mph in the summary. And I thought for a while that the speed of light had been breached finally (by a motorcycle) without going into warp and driven by someone named Bubba.
This is slashdot. No one cares about rationale or logic when it comes to Microsoft.
Slashdot is all about posting comments as fast as you can type. Anything that belittles Microsoft will immediately get +5 mod points. Who has the time to view a useful video and offer an informed opinion?
Are you using the new Macbook or Macbook Pro? I heard they fixed it there. But in the older models (I bought mine early 08) this didn't work on any Windows OS.
Right! And the said "gestures" were available to Windows in Bootcamp beta on the old Macbook Pro (not in Bootcamp final version) and are available to Windows in the new Macbook Pro.
I suppose you're right that Windows just can not deal with that!
The drivers don't do the gesture stuff. That happens at the OS level. Winblows doesn't support gestures.
Thank you for the insightful comment. This isn't a fucking "gesture" we're talking about. It is a mouse click that every other touch pad in the world supports.
Did you even read my fucking comment? Or perhaps you haven't had the privilege of using a laptop yet.
If you increase the lightness of black, then I suppose it would become grey and vice-versa.
And if we follow the same argument, if a microchip replaces a part of the human brain then we can't suddenly call it non-human but perhaps a hybrid. And vice-versa.
I'm not asking for the best Windows experience from Apple. Apple officially supports Windows on Mac, provides you with the drivers for Windows even advertises the fact that now you can run Windows natively.
And then they omit a simple feature that probably every laptop in the world supports. And the said feature is something that the overwhelming majority of laptop users on all operating systems are used to. And then to top it all, Apple doesn't fix the "bug" for years and even refuses to acknowledge that such an issue exists. What other conclusion should one draw than that they are deliberately degrading the user experience for anyone attempting to use another O/S on Mac.
I agree with you. For instance on my previous generation Macbook Pro, there is no way to tap the touch pad for a mouse click under Windows. You are forced to use the touchpad button.
On the face of it, it looks like an innocent little accidental omission by Apple, which they steadfastly refuse to fix.
Since all the Windows drivers are provided by Apple, I believe it is deliberate on their part to degrade the user experience on anything but OSX. That is just typical mean-spirited behavior by Apple.
True. But then how far back in history do we want to go? How about Pope Innocent who had women burned alive at the cross for being witches?
I hope you realize that religion is basically just evil. Only people are good or bad and would use religion accordingly.
Not the other way around.
How about pope innocent VIII who persecuted "witches" by burning them alive?

I never argue with idiots. I sympathize with them and explain things to them at their level of understanding.

That is the issue.
Or Google and Safari (on Mac).
Safari on Mac also has Google as the default. And there is no option in Safari to change it to anything else.
I wonder how much Google paid Apple here.
the best practical example of this is how easy it is to change the search engine in Chrome to Bing vs the hiding of the Google search option in IE8.
And the worst example of this is how in Safari on the Mac there isn't any option to change the search engine, it is fixed to Google.
What is a Google? How is it related to news?
But seriously, I've never used Google to search for news. I have a list of all my favorite newspapers (and news sites) bookmarked in my browser. Is this not what most people do? I would expect this to be the default behavior if you wanted to move from paper based newspapers to Internet based.
Oh not he's not. You've just been lucky so far!

I bought the original Razr when it just came into market. It was a great phone. Beautifully designed, sleek and stylish even by today's standards.
Too bad Motorola had monkeys design the user interface and idiots write the software. Completely fucked up a superbly designed piece of hardware.

Yes, yes, I know that's mph.

Lucky you're running OSX only. If you were running Windows under Bootcamp, you would find that Apple has deliberately disabled tap to click.
Why is it "mind-boggling" to drive to the gym? I like a good work out at the gym but do not like to bike, jog or run. So why can't I drive to the gym?
Right! And the said "gestures" were available to Windows in Bootcamp beta on the old Macbook Pro (not in Bootcamp final version) and are available to Windows in the new Macbook Pro.

So who's the fucking tool here?

There are people out there who actually read novels on an iphone sized screen?

So Bing is being reviled just because it's telling the truth and is ignoring damned lies about windows?
If you gradually start replacing a human brain with a microchip, then at what point would you consider that it is no longer human?
