lol...you just have no clue how companies are run these days. None, zero, zip. Do you honestly believe that they couldn't relocate that manufacturing to some place like China and produce the very same items cheaper? Are you that fucking ignorant? I don't care how many Mexican immigrants they hire, it's still MASSIVELY cheaper to use Chinese labor. Our minimum wage is ten times higher than theirs. Do you think our taxes are lower than China's? Do you think they have higher environmental requirements? LOL...Sorry buckwheat but if they are still in the US, it's for other reasons like the cost of shipping the items is so high, that it works to be about the same as what it would cost if they moved to China.
Companies don't give a fuck about you or where you're born. They ONLY care about profits. Thinking otherwise is just retarded dreaming. Most CEO's in the US would be fired in short order for not using the cheapest option. Christ, what fucking century do you live in? Wake up and smell the stench of globalization.
rofl...sorry buddy but any company in the US that can move out of the US, pretty much has. It's why our economy is predominantly service based now. Cap and Trade won't change shit. There's already plenty of incentives to get out. Perhaps you haven't been paying attention but there's this whole globalization thing going on and with it is a race to the bottom. Wherever is the cheapest place is where they will go even if they have to relocate operations every 3 to 5 years. Ask the Irish about it since Americans appear to have already forgotten it's already happened here. In a couple of years you'll be able to ask the Poles.
The Visitor pattern isn't OO, and in fact violates OO principles in every way, but I've seen it used for far beyond what I think you guys had in mind when you included it in your book. If you were to write a second version, would you include the Visitor pattern? If so, would you at least consider emphasizing its limited use?
He was contracted through a defense contractor. I'm sure the defense contractor got a lot more than $6k. Apparently he's a better researcher than negotiator.
So you blame everyone but the guy who broke the law? Brilliant. So, if someone shoots and kills everyone in your family, your cool with him getting away with it scott free because he had a shitty childhood?
He was expressly told not to take the information out of the US, and then he goes ahead and does it anyway. He's a fucking traitor, end of story. He knowingly and intentionally broke the law (not that it actually matters). It has nothing whatsoever to do with how much he was paid to do the research. The problem with people like you who know nothing about information security is that you don't have the slightest clue as to how much damage this stuff can cause nor do you understand how clever foreign governments are at acquiring such information. In addition, the costs to the US government (and consequently the taxpayer) can be enormous. He's very lucky he only got 4 yrs.
ROFL...you are a fucking moron. Letting foreign nationals participate in these programs is like giving the information away. There's no fucking way to keep it secret if you do that. We might as well just email China will all our secret shit. If the rules were changed such that the DoD had to allow foreign nationals to work on these projects, they would simply stop funding the university research entirely. I guaranfuckingteeit.
He has to suffer because he's a fucking traitor. If it were up to me, he would have gotten a lot worse than 4 yrs.
Oh, and a "genius" would know better.
You don't find it the least bit hypocritical that you talk about how degrading and dehumanizing porn can be, yet you refer to this woman as ruined "top shelf pussy"?
Thanks for the dissection of the label but "Hydrocodone/APAP 5-325" just isn't intuitive. Honestly, it wouldn't even occur to me to think that the 325 refers to the amount of tylenol (or other substance) in the product. I think Hydrocodone/Tylenol-325 would be much better. It seems to me that the doctor should let their patients know this stuff since the labels clearly don't. A lot of consumers don't even know that drugs are mixed like this. Consequently, I think the doctor or the pharmacist should be OBLIGATED to explain it when giving out this kind of medication. Every time I've gone to a pharmacist, they simply hand me my prescriptions and ask if I have any questions about how to take my medication. So people destroying their livers over this doesn't surprise me in the slightest.
Really? Show me a label for a Percocet prescription that indicates how much acetaminophen it contains. I've taken combo drugs before and the label just doesn't show that kind of information.
ROFL...history is replete with examples proving that manpower isn't usually the significant factor in determining the outcome of a battle. The real question is whether the Chinese actually know how to fight a sophisticated military. They've never had to prove it. Rolling tanks over unarmed civilians doesn't count.
My money is on the US despite any manpower advantage the Chinese have.
Yes it does and they fixed that quite a while ago. Where the hell have you been? It's actually the most memory efficient browser (and I've tried all the big ones, IE, Safari, Chrome, and Opera). However, this new version has a massive memory leak if you use the new "secure browsing" feature. If you want secure/private browsing, use a different browser.
ROFL...I used to believe all that Constitution this and Constitution that stuff but then Bush took office. All these supposed guaranteed rights went right out the fucking window in short order after 9/11. As stated in Aesop's Fables, "a tyrant will always find a pretext for his tyranny" and he won't let a piece of paper stop him.
And FYI...I'm no libertarian.
In the past I would have railed against you for saying such things but the truth is that most "American" companies of significant size aren't very American since they setup offshore HQs for tax avoidance, buy their parts from all over the world, etc.
Sure everything is concentrated in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia but even if those places get nuked we still have Arnold Schwarzenegger. So whatever.
Can't we just give the cows Beano? According to the commercial, if you take Beano there will be no gas. Then we don't have to give a shit about people becoming vegetarians. I like veggies and all but seriously, nothing compares to a great steak!
Yeah but a duck pond doesn't cost $370,000,000. You know how many fucking duck ponds you can make with that?? Besides ducks are a lot cuter than international units. Hell, most Americans couldn't give a shit about international units. When I look around my town and say how could I make this better, I don't think "We need international units!" However, some duck ponds would fucking rock this place. So suck it SI bitches!
The masses don't understand technology so their view on underlying technology is irrelevant and always will be. All they care about is that it works. The technologies in question can work on any iPod or whatever. There is no technical restriction that prevents it.
Perhaps you haven't been paying attention but there are no choices when it comes to this. How many options does iTunes, Amazon, or Rhapsody give you for encoding formats for music? None. There are none. You get the one option they pick for you. This video shit is exactly the same deal. There will be one choice and that's it.
So it's best if the masses just STFU about stuff they don't know about.
Ignore reality much?

Friends don't let friends use Visitor.

The DX supports PDF natively. Why don't you learn about the device before you talk about it.

"READ THE DAMN LABEL. Make sure you're not taking too much."
The problem is that people don't even know that the meds they are taking contain acetomenaphine.
He lives in a house full of women. Who the fuck do you think controls the thermostat?
