You see I'm from England and we talk a bit different.

So yes, I do say kill-o-meter

I'd prefer my 20 years in the computer industry to say more about me than how I pronounce the name of an obscure operating system.

and oh btw, the reason tunelling over HTTP works is because many desktops only have Internet access via an HTTP proxy rather than every desk in the company being NATed to the internet.

    it's not the argument anyway.

Vegetarian / Vegan is irrational. It denies the reality that we, as humans, have evolved as meat eaters. There is no way to argue against that and it's stupid to even try.

The consumption of meat has given us big brains. With those big brains we have been able to find ways to survive which reduce the need to torture and kill other animals.

Any other route for life celebrates barbarism.

We can, and will, break free of the killing and live in the company of, not as the enemies of, our fellow creatures.

If you disagree then you are in the company of the Rawandan butchers or Pol Pot where the life of others is valueless and can be traded for power.

I've been vegan for 12 years. Many, many people have attacked me verbally [and physically] and yet not one convincing argument as to why I should pull the trigger has been suggested. Feel free to try and be the first.

This is not because people are inherently criminal [although the something for nothing element can't be denied] but because for most casual gamers £40 for a game they may only play once is just too much.

Here we have a folder with literally hundreds of copied ps2/xbox titles. 99% of them don't get played for more than a couple of hours on the day they got downloaded. [the pile of non-pirate games is larger than most people's collection too]
