If we put the cost aside for a moment, the new Intel CPU keeps the Moore's law standard and the power to compute ration is accordingly increased compered to the previous CPU.
So I don't get why people complain.
I also pirate every game before I buy it. And I too bought Shogun total War.
Is Steam poo compered to the hassle free pirate version? Yes, but what can you do about it. Anyway, I will buy games I like even if I keep playing the pirated version.
Being a Pirate doesn't mean you are not a paying customer. It just means you do what you want.
And this is what I'd implement if I had the time.
But I don't, so in the end most of the solutions are implemented when they reach the status "good enough".
Give me 1, ONE, example where hate speech was used to suppress freedom of speech in EU.
This example is we have here is hate speech and should be not downplayed.
I have tested NVIDIA 3D technology with some games at it's awesome! The effect is even more real because you are actually interracting with the world. For example Left4Dead is great with 3D glasses. Now we just need more support from game developers.
What you want is not a 3D TV, but a Head Mounted Displays.
Right now, the best one does 720p@60Hz for 3D, not good enough. But I bet in 1 year this will be the next hot stuff to own.
that's because non of this matter, so the buyer didn't give a crap about multi core CPU or CPU-GPU bandwidth.
Why buy 6 core CPU when even today half of the game still don't use more then 2 or why use PCIEx 3.0 when even the fastest card don't saturate the PCIe 2.0?
No, the truth is the consoles are nothing more then old PC, sure they have some minimal technical differences, but if they would make a game run faster, you can bet the PC would have it too.
PC are the state of the art when it comes to hardware and software development, consoles are lagging behind even when just released, let alone after a couple of years.
That depends how much they pay. Google, for example, pays the cute but relatively small sum of $3133.70 for the most severe bugs. These Vupen guys could have reported their bugs and pocketed at most ~$6k (maybe less, if Google failed to recognize the severity of the bugs), or they could do as they did, keep the bugs to themselves until Pwn2Own came around, and earn ten times that amount.
I doubt they care so much about the fame. The extra $54k, on the other hand...
I fear that the black market pays more for this 0-day exploits.
At least you are happy with Windows7. I still miss the Windows 2000 GUI. :(
>There's almost nothing in that list that hasn't been available on other platforms for more than a decade
How does that stop something from being a feature?
It didn't stop Apple, that's for sure.
The only thing I don't understand is why it's me who gets ass-fucked in this story. And I don't even get a kiss. :(
Norton is soo 2000. HP security tools are teh sex now.

Well, at least they don't burn you now, if you disagree with them.
There is no such things as dinosaurs. It's the fabrication of a delusional mind. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Young_Earth_creationism

Still no support eh? If I yell "Equip sword and axe" what happens? BSOD?
Troll disclaimer
Yes, some PC are properly locked, but 90%* can be hacked.
*The number is pure speculation.

So they will watch TV instead to make more babies. If you give them only food, the population will boom and you will have the same problem.

Because hate speech brings nothing but misery.
In EU hate speech is not protected by freedom of speech. And rightfully so. If anyone doesn't agree name me one example to make me to doubt it.
Yes, but can also be blocked/detected easier then SSH.
SSh tunneling is teh sex.

Yap, it's just a first step. Once we see it's safer if the driver doesn't touch anything we will move on.
Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner!
Didn't know, thanks for the info.

Yap, many to blame, but not all of them lost the money.
Your cousin B. is now without home, but the banks still have the money.
The new capitalism if awesome, keep the profit and socialize the loses.
that it will happen in 2012?
