    No, the reason rally cars don't have ABS it's because they are not allowed to.

    ABS was banned from F1 because it's too good. Yeah, some cheap cars have poor ABS implementation, but proper ABS is beyond F1 drivers ability, let alone Joes.

    Albeit we had 2 censorship incident done via DNS blocking.

    They didn't last very long, were unconstitutional and easily circumvented by replacing the DNS server address and no one was ever persecuted by circumventing the protection.

    To this date, not a single charge or court order has been issued for private usage of the internet for whatever reason. The only incidents were regarding "hate speech" and rightfully so.

    Depends on the country. In EU it won't, not so sure about other 3rd world countries.

    Remember, you don't NEED to use Microsoft Windows. Linux is a viable option. Red Hat Linux works well on the desktop.

    You do if you are a gamer.

    But if they don't use the same stunt as DX11 is only for teh windows Vista/7 you can keep your old version.

    I checked this Yammer that you mention.

    You can't have the server in your organization. So it's ok only for small company that doesn't have a problem with having data hosted by a 3rd party.

    No go.

    No one is willing to pay a proper expert to install a windows client.

    It takes up to 4 hours to set everything correctly. Including the complete removal off all the not needed application in the auto-start. the level of knowledge to set it up perfectly is the same as it takes to setup a proper linux or windows server.

    Would you pay 200$ for a windows installation that does not include a windows license? For a server you would, but for a workstation?

    the thing is, an cheap Intel CPU + cheap dedicated GPU is faster and cheaper then anything AMD can provide. Oh, it does use less power too. The thing is, this new CPU+GPU is already dead.

    While Intel is evil and we got used to it, the new AMD marketing bullshit has reached Apple level. Sorry, but I can't have sympathy for a company doing that. But I agree, no competition is terrible for consumers.

    Can't cover every box in this world, I give you that, but if you can reach 90%, it's way better then what we have now. As for unknown files, all you need is a pop up box where you ask the user what original files does it match.

    You could have a centralized system (like Steam) for tracking user activities. As for ownership, no problem, if no one is, no one is getting the money. But for most works there is always one who takes care of the system. but if you like to see only problems, I can't change your point of view, nor I care to do so. I'm merely providing a better solution to piracy. If you have a better one, please say so.

    How do you track who's using what and how long without causing an unacceptable breach of privacy?

    ISP already knows a lot about you, to protect your privacy we have laws.

    What's covered by this "package"? Will people downloading Linux distributions and other free software and even proprietary freeware also cause money to flow to the creators of such software?

    Whoever is the "owner" gets paid.

    And who gets to set the "price"? Is a fart app on your smartphone worth as much per hour of use as Photoshop?

    Me, 10E is ok. If you spend the same amount of time, then to you it has the same worth.

    How politically correct is it to propose a model which would essentially give a large amount of money to porn companies?

    So what, if they provied what you want they will get paid.

    Create an Internet all -you-can-eat package. You pay 10E a month and you can get all the contentment for free (games, appz, movies, mp3 ,....). Owners will get paid based on how much time people use their products.
