Those components were installed by editing the Windows registry, not 'dropped in' as is discussed here (Firefox looks in various locations to find plug-ins and addons to load).

Firefox (or any other browser) should have only one place for addons and plug-ins and this location should be locked with a password, like the OS devices.

Right now any program (or virus) can add addons to our browsers.

I'm sick of getting my browser hijacked every time I install a program.

What is the legality of this bill? On 1st December 2009, the EU will have in law the hated Lisbon treaty, which gives the EU carte blanche to do what the hell it likes with laws in the former 27 EU countries, and is accountable to nobody.

The EU wish to have some sort of three strikes laws for "illegal" copyright downloaders and cut off "offenders", this conflicts with what the Spanish have just done.

So who is going to win Spanish law, or EU law?

Depends how democratic the EU is.

For now the most e-democratic states are Finland and Spain, while France is going toward e-Fascism.

Historically, real interest rates (the nominal interest rate - inflation) have been about 2%. So in 1000 years, that 93 cents will be worth about 370 million in inflation adjusted terms. A respectable sum. Depending on inflation. Has there yet been a bank or currency which has lasted that long?

The modern banking started during the Renaissance in the 14th–16th centuries.

And in the final sum you have to calculate also the account expenses the banks charges. It's possible, if the sum is not high enough, to own money to the bank after 1000 year.

Well thats probably the case if you go to movies to only watch a movie. I never do just that, but it's nice to sometimes go out with a girlfriend and on the way or after go eat at a restaurant too. In that case the ads dont really bother that much. But if I just want to watch a movie, yeah I rather do it home from my more comfortable bed naked drinking beer.

I don't know what do you do with you girlfriend, but watching adds together is not on my list.
