I think it will be very similar to how Antarctica is today. There is a good starting point as a study case.
Several science bases (maybe even some civilians, as Chile have in Antarctica today), each base belonging to a country of origin on earth, so each base will have a "local" law depending on that country. Lots of interactions/helping between bases.
Mars won't be considered a foreign territory by any country, for many years to come. As in Antarctica, claimed territories will overlapped, but should not be a problem for anyone for some time.
Problems will start when countries start exporting natural resources back to earth... specially coming from those overlapped territories.
Thats my 2 pesos.
Here in Chile PIN is mandatory... but cloning is still being done (a hidden camera usually captures your PIN)
News flash! Now they are cloning - and altering - the swipe machines, to capture everything including PIN and sending it through hi intensity bluetooth. The machines (GPRS -EDGE) are being switched without the merchant's knowledge.
There's a story about a famous old clock that sat above the booths of a bank here in Chile. The bank used this clock as a kind of trademark, you could see it on every leaflet, every catalog and almost every paper this bank issued
One day, two guys appeared with blue overalls, helmets, and a stepladder.
Acting absolutely normal they remove this clock for maintenance reasons.... no one ever saw the clock again! there was no maintenance scheduled... it was the perfect crime!!
If you want to get really confused come down here: in Chile we use "Petroleo" or "Petroleo Diesel" refering to Diesel an "Bencina" for gasoline.
So when you say "Petrol" my first though is: Diesel.
Did I ever told you about this guy, I met some years ago, that used an abrasive file over the edges of the HardDisk power connectors, because they "didn't fit" the way he wanted to connect them?
Q: What is worse than a dumb guy?
A: A dumb guy with initiative.
And what about starting with the Remastered version of TOS? That should level up the space FX parts...
and then doing an historical lecture about FX in the 60's, and showing how the really were.
Your fingers can tell you if the cable is live now even without the tattoos....
It may hurt a little bit, but you will end up with a nice curly hair;-)
How can we call a system that delivers Internet from the skies above? I would go with SKYNET.

mmm... yeah, more like some sort of satellite to satellite weapon maybe.
What are the chances of hitting space debris of some sort?
Hold that thought... Can we use this thing to clean the orbit or the path before, let's say the ISS?
Anti-hydrogen weapon?
So... thats about every user of Windows Phone complaining.
How big is this flare? Can it be measured in terms of Star Trek movies?
So, no marshmellows to put out on this flare?
Samsung has a similar application: http://findmymobile.samsung.com/login.do, it's being around for a while now.
Yes, actually, They're planning to plan a launch.

... and now?
Now?
There has been 3D movies for decades, (50s or 60s... to lazy to check) but just recently the technology allow it to became mainstream.
Maybe it's time for a VR grand comeback.
(... I'm still waiting for my holosuite...)

Real exception message on Spanish localized Windows:
La memoria no pudo ser "written"
What?
Come to Chile and own your iPhone legally, fully unlocked.
Ok, I'm a Playstation guy, so I didn't thought about the XBox when I wrote this.
My mind was on accessories like joysticks, etc. Still, my point may stand if you compare the evolution of the XBox with the evolution of Windows.
Microsoft is an excellent hardware manufacturer
Their keyboards an joysticks are the best (mid-range) hardware I've come across.

too much Sheldonian?
leave people the hell alone to conduct their lives in peace already!
Sorry, but you were filtered... nobody could read you there.

I can't help imaging this as a competitor to "Fun with flags". They really should be on the same time-slot
:-)
Wheeeetooonnnnn!!!!
We are having more flares than a Star Trek movie!!!
One of my favorites Sci-Fi movies... the sequel? Not so much.
