Can't VoIP detect a fax/modem signal and avoid treating it like voice? For instance, the codec hears a fax handshake and then stops using lossy audio compression, or at least, lossy compression that doesn't destroy all data.
I see there's a standard, T.38 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T.38). I wonder if it's already implemented in VoIP services, and if it isn't, why they don't do it.
Sure, throw into the garbage the profitable console from Nintendo. Genius!
It's evident you're not aware the struggling console from Nintendo is the Wii U. The portable 3DS is chugging alone more than fine.
(Which also explains why Windows is a "success" and Linux has never made it to the desktop -- yet is the only serious OS in the few luxury/demanding markets left.)
But Linux (on the desktop) is a fucking piece of shit. Windows 2000 is far better than the latest Mint, Ubuntu or Fedora crap, let alone Windows 7.
Yes, implemented in such a half-assed way that it's almost unusable.
I had to downgrade to 10.2 because the latest version doesn't work on XFCE, or at least, it didn't work on a fresh install of Xubuntu/Mint on my PC. On top of that, there won't be any new releases for Linux, 11.3 is not available and apparently it won't ever be. Gnash is junk. Don't get me wrong: I despise Flash, I want it to die already. But it's still a necessary part of the Internet.
I still don't get what those vertical bars across the graph are. What's the meaning of them being red or green? This: http://bitcoinity.org/markets is also a great page, but much in the same way, I don't understand the second graph. I've read the WTF section and the Reddit explanation...
But I don't want a heart, I want to improve my skillset
Most estimates show a bell-curve type of population growth. I think it is around 13 or 14 billion where it would peak and then it will go back down.
So I don't think he's that off. We waste tons of food a day.
I thought the same, but what if the technology isn't there? I know nothing about lasers or laser-resisting windows, just asking a question.
Well, mobile phone != smartphone
They could have millions of Nokia 1100 for all we know (with that data).

You are a fucking idiot. That's that the facts say.

Can anybody more versed in PR speak please translate what "strategic investment" means?
Gee, thank you grandpa! Now I'll continue to buy more records and clean my walkman after I fix my VCR.
Do you have any other obsolete idea to share?
Huh, that's strange. My experience and that of my friends is the complete opposite. Maybe Winamp has improved dramatically on that aspect since 2011?
Try managing 150000+ files on Winamp and tell me how it goes. Now try that again with Foobar.
As opposed to AMD's drivers working flawlessly?
It's a GPU issue, I don't think any particular brand is doing better than the other.
Stop turning this site into shit. How in the cunt did you think this had to be posted?
A little hacking, and you've got yourself a $150 dollar Windows8.1 tablet.
Do you really think we won't be pirating the shit outta Windows when we do that?

And the lack of Adobe Flash will surely go down very well with them!
Where did you get this information?
It's actually "Soshoku danshi"
I'm running a 512MB SSD in my laptop
Do you have MS-DOS 6.22 as your main OS?
while my similar-age AMD board would probably work with a current Bulldozer.
Yeah, no. That whole "socket compatibility" thing is long gone in AMD. Socket FM1 was released in 2011, FM2 in 2012, probably FM3 this year.
Compare that with Intel's sockets 1156 (2009), 1155 (2011), 1150 (2013).
Sure, AM3 is better, let's see how it works out with their next AM3+ release.
Haven't you seen all those speculators laughing all the way to the bank during the last Bitcoin bubble?
The point is, OP didn't say anything for or against Bitcoin. It was just an analysis of Forbes' posture against this whole thing.

You surely proved him wrong, pal!
