My ISP caps my download so I can't download evil viruses
My ISP throttles my p2p traffic so I can't download music and become infected with the terrorist virus and become one of them like the RIAA video says
My websurfing experience constantly pops up with anticybercrime tools that I can buy for only 19.95, I have 204 of those tools installed so far
I have norton, so my internet apps are all blocked anyways and my computer is too slow to let me experience the web and get terrible cybercrime done to me.
Also, I installed vista SP1 and now my computer boots to a blue screen so it is even safer.
Why another internet?
PS. Without my PC, I decided to go play outside and got hit by a bus. Damn you internet!!!
What scares me is more and more high speed ISPs cap the upload/download limits and throttle P2P traffic.
Seeing as most high speed ISPs also have tv and phone services, am I wrong imagining a conspiracy of them not wanting P2P technologies to really get off the ground (I still consider it to be in its infancy)?
A google boss walks in on a google employee playing Balloon Fight on a NES emulator
Google boss: What's this? Playing on your 20% time??
Busted employee: Errr... well... it's research! We could buy a balloon company and rule the wifi world.
Google boss: Fantastic idea Johnson! Also, let us buy some fishermen to make sure those pesky fishes don't eat our balloons!
Employee:....riiiight...
boss: To the buying room!!!
The author would have fixed the typo but windows update ran automatically to enhance his user experience while he was redacting and now his computer won't boot so he can't fix it.
Install norton and the computer becomes too slow to run anything, thus making it safe. Flawless.
Next week, Norton Car Safety: how filling your tank with cool aid and your oil tank with mountain dew will keep you from crashing your car.
I wonder if a company would, in the long run, win when embracing hacking instead of fighting it (ie if Apple would have let the hacks be). Good mod products usually getting a good following (like Buffalo router for DD-WRT). Would it not end up being more profitable for the company in the end?
And if you use nothing but MS software for 30 days, your computer becomes bloated!
And agreeing to install live toolbar with MSN, that sounds like supersizing to me...
It looks painless, but then you have to remove norton, roxio, sonic and pc doctor from your patch. And even though you try, you'll always have bits of roxio left in your blood afterwards.
*1 Gig upload/download monthly limits apply
My net is completely safe:

All my anti-depressant drugs would be more effective if I didn't know how effective they really were. I find that very depressing!!

"a slim 240 pages" You have plenty of time to read it TWICE while Norton security suite is installing.
iMac, or iMac with benefits...
You forgot to compare their social liv... oh, nevermind.
Not to worry, these guys will be in charge of security in ten years time.

Getting a hack-friendly rep, so to speak.
sorry, those chimps were left behind
Better than college students in every way.
A Reuters report is noting that the 'internet' is now more-or-less broken in.
I'll worry about today's youth when the studies show George Bush is smarter than college students.
