And the term "phone" also includes a rotary phone, a pay phone, and a red hotline phone to call the president. If you say you're having trouble with an App on your phone, people can still figure out you mean Android or iOS through context.
Windows 7 has a zoom setting. It is nearly as complete as what's in Windows 10. I remember seeing retina Macbook Pros running well with it - even in a VM. There are more compatibility fixes in 10 if an app doesn't behave correctly, but the number of programs are relatively small.
Not always. I bought an air mattress. Used it for one night - found out it leaked horribly. They said it was against policy to allow returns on a used air mattress (as if it were underwear). Then they pulled out a giant binder from behind them (that I did not see prior to purchase) and claimed I should somehow know the policy buried within.
Sure, I just took it to another Wal-Mart and they returned it without hassle. But not everyone will keep trying.
How many Bangladeshi or Chinese brands do you buy shoes from? You buy them from a "US" Manufacturer who then contracts it out with those specifications.
Buying from local branches of a national chain (ALL of the examples above) does support the local economy, but not much compared to a locally owned business.
You're already knocking out the convenience factor with the extra trip. Consumers would want to just buy them then. And it's also the reason so many stores (used to) price match online prices.
Some of those brands have a Minimum Advertised Price. Which means that the prices don't have to be higher - they're probably already too high and the margin covers the returns. Look at the iPad - stores can't even lower the prices if they want to (due to wholesale agreement) - but they can give you freebies and incentives with the purchase on Black Friday.
"Basic Stuff" for which we haven't even had much of a consistent standard for very long. And of what we have, everything is being constantly extended - still makes sense for that to be handled by a cheap external box.
With that said, we know the supposed intent is to only sign for *.gov, so browsers should only trust the CA for that TLD. This is a good time to evaluate all similar CAs in this way.
For sites where trust isn't needed, that's only true when there's not a mitm attack and/or fake ads, fake downloads, or even something as simple as an email subscribe form where you don't want information in the wrong hands.
This is much better, but yeah - there are still problems. Daylight at the end of the day is much more valuable to me all year round. I would never want to drop DST all year, but if we need daylight in the morning in winter for a good reason, I guess DST just had to stay.
We're talking about average temperature - daily temperatures that swing wildly by up to 20 degrees F or more every day. If that averages out to a half a degree higher per year on average, it's absolutely measureable.

Europe also generally doesn't allow re-selling returned/refurbished items as new and generally better consumer protection laws.
Hellman's Mayonnaise, I'm ok with buying online
Something tells me it's harder to get fresh mayo. Sitting in a warehouse (longer), no way to check the expiration date at purchase.
And the average is skewed high by about 5% of people who carry $50k or more in credit card debt.
These might be the same people who compulsively buy and return 1/2 or more of everything they buy.

Venus is the same as the Mach3. Venus Embrace is the Fusion.

And your reply above that was literally to someone talking about the changing definition of words.
You can hate someone without being afraid of them.
Read upthread for context and you'd know what I'm talking about. The proposal drops DST changes by staying in that offset year-round.

Right, but the US government doesn't issue certificates for anyone else. In the Dutch case, however, I do support removing trust.

I didn't know fox was into that.
Amateurs make money doing things all the time. Don't dilute words.
Not surprising - it engages the visual cortex to keep track of a scene and all the interactions going on. Which is used for most driving.
It's also why composing a text by voice is still a challenge for me sometimes.
Anyone can be charged with violating some law. Even if it's just a scare tactic to get a plea and there's no chance of a conviction.

on Ritalin
I think you mean off Ritalin.
