...Im glad our collective governments have all the real issues of the world solved ( like famine, disease, terrorists , etc )... You seem to be under the impression that "terrorists" are a real problem. Why?
Actually, what you want is a fluid (fluid!=liquid) with as high a specific heat capacity as possible, while maintaining an acceptable viscosity in the expected thermal operating range. Mercury would actually be awesome in this application, but of course, its "dirty" so we couldn't have that.
The SSD from Seagate is a total "Me Too!" product. Seagate thinks they are in the "Mass storage" market, but they are not. They never have been. Their market is the one that includes "rotating magnetic platters". The only reason they are trying to break into this market (that they continuously decry as useless, futile, and too expensive) is because they are afraid of what "might" happen ten years down the road.
It's so nice to see a company that fought this at every step pretend to embrace it.
I suppose they could make a smaller Air, but, err, why? Because I don't know a single person that is even slightly interested in a MBA, but I know lots of people who would be interested in a macbook nano.
Your comment is similar to the naysayers that said apple would never enter the micro-mp3 player segment, cause they liked the other market segment better. Not only did they enter that market segment, but their initial foray into it was at a higher price and a fatter profit margin, and they still managed to dominate it. I believe they can do the same with small laptops.
I know I'm not exactly "the market" but I already decided. I want smaller and cheaper, not thinner and more expensive. I don't see any reason why Apple can't go in both directions here.
Forget Dell, damnit, I want an Apple version of the EEE. Comeon apple, theres clearly demand, you can do it too (and yes, you can even make a profit doing it, don't give me that "margins" line.)
Auction off? Doesn't me mean solicit contracts? No corporation is going to be able to "freely" provide internet access AND filter all the content on the web. They'd have to pay someone to do that, and the leftover bandwidth in the spectrum just ain't gonna cut it.
It was enhanced yes, but even after you reconfigure the icon, it still takes two clicks to open the folder. That's still the opposite of an improvement over Tigers dock. Stacks was a horrid idea.
During install, my MBP restarted an additional time or two. I thought for a minute there that I was gonna have to restore from a week old super dupe. Alas, on the third startup, it actually started.
Nice try for a comeback, but no.
If you think the GP was talking about RMS, you are really confused.
cause well, I hate it. IARAMO (i am really a mac owner)

*cough, cough, bullshit, cough, cough*
I would have modded you insightful, if it weren't for the fact that everything you said is wrong.
meh, the original was far more readable, but still, thats not bad

Every news source has merged those two statements together, and every time, my brain gets stuck on it.
Seagate is announcing two seperate products. One is a SSD and the OTHER is a 2TB hdd.
If the approval was fast tracked, then the appeal should be too. Get that spec disqualified, FAST.

I have flown once and only once since 9/11. I will never fly again, unless this paranoia shit is completely reversed.
Tell her Richard Dean Anderson is aboard, and the landing gear is better than ever.
Allah does not allow defloration of the greeters.

Whoosh!
4. ???
5. Profit!
There, finished that for you.
You're not too fucking bright, are you?
