    Assuming you did it for a business, wouldn't it have been easier to spend the 80 bucks to buy a PDF editing program, scan a form, then add fields to it and print them all?

    I love 'em, but I do agree about the idiots who try to use them. IMO they should have a timer and if it takes longer than a predetermined length of time (based on number of items and size, it adds a surcharge for being slow. It should also add a surcharge if you try to scan too many items. It's not for doing your entire groceries with people! It's the modern version of the express line for people with under 10-20 items.

    Or to their own business. Updating information around their location wouldn't be a bad idea for many store owners. Google Places is also very useful.

    Is it really that hard to load into your smartphone a few weeks schedule occasionally? Even if everyone in the department is a techie, there is no need to try and get fancy. Sometimes the old fashioned really is better.
    If you were talking a department of 100+, I can see some benefit. For a dozen freaking people though, you're just creating needless drama.

    While possible, it would be more complex then that. It would also have to account for wind, distance, speed, windows etc.

    Chaff is stupid. A target approaching a ship is going to go right through it (and destroy its own engines if it has any) and appear on the other side. Chaff is only useful as an escape where it remains in line of sight between both parties.

    You would have to have enough chaff to keep ejecting the entire time you are in motion, which would quickly mean you have no room for weapons. If you don't move, you get pegged easily with a rocket, and if you do move you just leave your protective bubble. It wouldn't work.

    First off, they aren't cutting defense spending because they aren't in Congress. They don't have the power to do so. Other than that, the big 3 spenders in the federal budget are Medicare/Medicaid, Social Security, and military. Guess which one is Constitutional, cause there only is one.
    The EPA, ATF, TSA, FDA and many other agencies/programs could all be scrapped but are peanuts in comparison. Maybe that's why nobody talks about the TSA much? Just took a hint of logic to figure that one out.
    Sure the military has a big budget and could probably do with some cleaning up and optimizing of resources, but it is in the Constitution and performs an important function.
    What are you basing this claim they want more services from? It is entirely unsubstantiated. All of those I know want very little from the government other than to be left alone. How about finding out what they are actually saying instead of setting up straw men?

    Exactly the problem. It is impossible to have a casteless, classless society because ultimately someone is going to be in charge. The USSR was exactly what they wanted and heralded as the savior of human civilization. It's failure should have shown the stupidity of the system, but unfortunately there are still too many who buy into their line of thought.
    Stalin and Lenin did not corrupt Marx works. They followed them.
    PS I study a lot of history and political theory, of all kinds. I'm curious how many of you who are defending Marx have ever read his stuff. I have. It's scary shit. Don't take the watered down propaganda that the push. Go ahead and read the Communist Manifesto sometime.

    I wanted to know how it worked with paid subscribers, so I pulled up the privacy inspector app (which I've never used before so can't vouch for its worth) and scanned pandora. The only permissions it uses are the device ID (for auto login), network type and network status. Seems reasonable to me.
