Its events like this that are the reason I have Qik on my phone. I've never used it, but give me 15 seconds to get started and I'll be uploading live video to a remote server. Go ahead and take my phone. Its already in the cloud.
Correct. I believe this is posted for the Kindle, around 6000 page turns if memory serves me.
Disclaimer: I used to work in tech support for the Kindle. When I started I was an avid Amazon fan. I hate and boycott them now for the shitty treatment they give their employees.
PS. I especially like how they complained about grouping the close window icon with the minimize and maximize and how he "still occasionally" closes windows he wants to maximize. I don't think I have ever done that, or seen even the most incompetent user do it.
It's nothing more than a bunch of old farts complaining about how the old days were better, when in fact most of that they want is still available or entirely unnecessary. Keyboards for example. I for one prefer new keyboards. I hated the old clicky style, but as others have shown, they are available for those who want them. Complaining about the scroll bar and not being able to click in the window to recenter? That might have been nice... in the days before the mouse wheel.

I'm curious how they plan on detecting if it is rooted or not. The easiest rooting method for my phone (if your using stock roms) or any custom rom you install on your own, uses the Superuser app to request root access anytime an app wants it. If they just try to run a root command, its going to pop up asking to allow or not and all you have to do is disallow. Blammo. Your phone looks like its unrooted.
I am the "computer-guy" for a rather large volunteer-service organization. In an average week I probably get more "how do I do this" questions from that alone (ie, not including coworkers or family) than you likely do in a year. Note my actual position isn't supposed to be tech support. I'm just the web admin running schedules and membership rosters.
I have far far more people ask me for help with their iphones/ipads/ipods than any other piece of technology. I thought they were so easy to use? I always tell them I boycott apple and refuse to even try to learn, which I'm sure I could.
Big difference between a $300 computer and a $100k house. Anyone who has any "need" for a laptop should be able to scrap together 300 in a few weeks or months, especially considering that its only two or three of the payments they would have to make for a rent-to-own deal anyway.
The point is that they don't need to save for long time. Two of their "low payments" would be enough to buy a decent system outright. If they can make the "low payments" they can save.
How much of that is connection lag and how much is UI though? The connection is understandable, depending on signal strength and other variables. UI lag is not. If its lag in the browser its probably connection related.
I work in health care, in a surgery department. I see insurance info all the time. Self-insured isn't an uncommon designation.
Most "current" topics have been around for several years. There arent really many new issues, just rehashes of old ones.
Does his position change so frequently it has to be updated in realtime?
Goatse
Unless you are going to install every app in either market, that is a moot point. Most of the apps in both are worthless.
That was my impression. She bit off more than she could handle and it failed.
you'll be playing with yourself!
Whats wrong with that?

Zip code data is useful to determine where to open new branches, but any more than that is too much imo.

HDMI to DVI/VGA adapters are pretty cheap too.

I only have a 1/2"x3/8" piece. Will it still work?
And you need a 1000 dollar laptop for college? Funny, I did just fine with my 300 netbook.
