    It can see the cars ahead and it saw the SUV breaking so it reacted. It did not predict anything other than a vehicle in front is breaking and it started breaking faster than a human can react.

  5. MY macbook and iMac unlock using my apple watch. it detects the watch and that it is on my arm and unlocked and then logs me into the computers. works great and feels oh so space agey.

  6. Yep. I currently have the Apple watch with the milan loop band and it stays in place perfectly all day. plus it's comfortable as hell in 100 degree heat as air travels through the mesh band.

    But my Pebble time steel before it also stayed exactly where I put it. I am guessing the author is one of these notjobs that puts it on loose and then blames what gravity does on the device.

  7. The OS is not the problem. It's the hardware makers. I will accept a big chunky diving watch if the damn thing was waterproof and shockproof with a decent scratchproof crystal.

    Also for god's sake give us some real battery life! 2 days at a minimum please.

    There are thousands of other things that need to be worked on but no, instead we fuck around with the UI and make it worse than before. very VERY rarely has a major UI change made something better.

    and they all offer it in really shitty interfaces on underpowered hardware. The Apple TV4 and the Nvidia Shield utterly destroy any smartTV made in the quality of the apps and the UI. Plus I get updates, unlike the craptastic netflix app in my panasonic smart TV that has not been updated in 2 years and they are using a processor from 1989 to run it.

  19. I have dealt with high end home theaters and the "atmos" hype is all hype. all they are doing is mixing audio into the other channels at phase differences. Almost NO movies are sending the full 16 channel audio as nobody wants to pay the sound guy to do more than a 5.1 mix. it's rare as hell to even find something with a full 7.1 audio mix in it.

    Also you have to have an acoustically controlled room, 99% of you dont have sound treated walls and ceiling in a room that get's larger to the rear on a taper.

    I am mostly MAC here and I bought a Surface pro to add to the tools available. It is not replacing my laptop, in fact my 2012 Mac Book pro is screaming fast with an SSD and no need to buy a new device that is only 15% faster and uselessly thinner.
