Yup.. Cue up the people that spent too much for their Masters and PHD clamoring how they are far better than the unwashed masses...

I know high school dropouts that are smarter than some that hold multiple Masters degrees.

I also have met many people that work in a foundry or factory that know far more about engineering than the idiot engineers that the same company hires.

When you are in IT, you get to watch the fun of the engineers that have never assembled the item fight with the guys that actually touch their design and know it's a mess.

I made Nitro Glycerine in my dad's garage. all from stuff I bought at the local pharmacy and pool supply. I was too chicken to refine it down to explode on shock, but a mason jar full of of it on a small campfire give you 5 minutes to run and hide before it explodes. It created a 6 foot crater and shattered a tree. You did not hear the explosion, you hear a POP,Rinnnnnnnnnng! and felt the shockwave.

Bad ideas are finding ways to burn pool chlorine tablets... the smoke from that will burn the leaves off the trees....

Now sparklers for kids.... crush them, pack the contents into a plastic pill bottle, and add a fuse. the explosion is not violent but insanely loud. Sounded the same and had a shockwave as well. Sparklers are dangerous!

Most fun is having access to helium, and aceletyne torches. Fill 2 balloons with helium, and 1 balloon with acelytene and oxygen. tie together and add a fuse to the explosive one. light and let go.

The balloons explode about 30 to 60 feet off the ground with an insane BOOM that rings through the neighborhood. It was fun to fill small ziplocks like that and throw them under the benches of the welders at the shop I worked at. It was fun to be 18 and a maintainance guy at a foundry... you learn fun pranks.

So based on limited and biased exposure, you find that what your teachers taught you is right.

Based on my experience with education at universities and Seminary the Bible is horribly corrupted by the church of the past. Lots of contradictions and obvious insertion of things that do not belong. Read the bible in it's original languages and suddenly the modifications become glaring. The Reformation exposed a lot of this and perpetuated a lot of it. Some of luthers writings talk about what he saw was wrong and was perverted by previous monks and church heads.

Cant afford your own? Polycom,Tandberg and other all rent gatekeeper time pretty cheap. Far cheaper than asking the network BOFH to open ports on the firewall. (Note cheaper solution: get external IP's for all your VC systems if you dont have 30 of them.)

Health research groups are already drooling over the idea of an iphone 4 h323 client that will allow the phone user to use both cameras so they can do face to face conferences and use the high res camera for showing a patient condition, etc...
