    Freedom is freedom to both wear and be free from government originated consequences as well as some measure of protection from the government for consequences origination from other third parties.
    For the most part you are free to be a dick and the government cannot stop or punish you and will even protect you from some of the consequences you receive from other citizens. Which is markedly different with murder. You are not free to murder because the government will inflect consequences on you and not protect you for the most part from other people, at the time of the murder at least (you are allowed to defend yourself and others).

    They really cover all bases in this article. They have both a denial that they have been secretive and an explanation of why they had to be secretive.

    I drove for a short while but quit because it was just too boring. Yes focusing all of your attention is important, but how can you focus on something that 90% of the time is not worthy of any notable percentage of attention?
    I can hand you a blank piece of paper and tell you to spend 100% of your attention focusing on it for hours, but I do not see how that would be possible for a human being to do.

    The simple fact is, that even if you can afford it it is quantitatively worse than most other developed nations.

    I agree. Doctors deal with death, to people have gotten to know and have talked to, on a daily basis.
    After a while you are expected to learn to deal with the unpleasantness, and just do your job.

    Don't you think they would of kept the already pregnant and using contraceptives out of the study.
    Anyways, at least one study suggest that rape induces ovulation, so in fact does greatly increase the chance of conceiving.

    I do not know how all of these new stories keep forgetting the most important statistic.
    The average chance of getting pregnancy from one unprotected consensual sex act is only around 2.5%.
    Rape seems to increase the chance of getting pregnant by around 100%.

    Other studies have shown that acute stress can cause ovulation. So the current best theory seems to be the exact opposite of this common misconception, that indeed rape causes women to become more "receptive".

    Is is really a good thing to give people more options to only block pregnancy instead of pregnancy and STDs?
    Blocking pregnancy is really not good enough for any contraceptive. When/if this came out I predict a significant increase in STDs.

    Also we men really do not have the best track record for honesty related to sex. And "I am on the pill" is a statement that cannot be verified.

    Except that murder actually helped win the war while plagiarism just helped keep writers/journalists unemployed during the war.
    Saying plagiarism helped win the war is like saying my great-great-great grandfather (who we are assuming was alive during that period) helped win the war since he existed during that period of time even though he was not in the same country nor did he have anything to do with it.

    I always thought these were fairly constant, does this theory mess up any of our current Radiometric dating (and other similar) methods?
    Sure a few solar flares might not do much effect, but when we are talking hundreds of millions of years ago the sun might of been in a totally different state that caused different decays over long periods of time, than we previously thought.
