    As long as you can still legally own your own business, how does this change anything?

    Instead of a 20 million dollar salary, they will just agree to give them a 5 percent piece of the profit, annually. Or some other incentive.

    If you are going after the obscenely rich, increase taxes a huge amount on the multi-multi-millionaires and billionaires, going after CEOs who make a handful of millions every year is akin going after the middle class.

    I ever said that skydiving was over dangerous, but I still disagree with your statistics.

    All of those dives were either done by seasoned professionals, or in the company of them, and I would bet that most were done simply by the professionals themselves.

    Most drivers are horrible at driving, and most crashes involve really bad drivers.

    I would argue that Skydiving is likely orders of magnitude more dangerous than the statistics show, as the statistics are biased based on who actually goes skydiving.

    Probably not that ironic, he probably took stupid risks in the rest of his life as well, including how he set up those jacks.

    Someone dying by definition cannot be a tragedy to the rest of the word. Tragedy implies not just life as usual.

    Though some philosophers maintain that life is a tragedy, so I guess they would disagree.
    Personally, I love Seneca's sentiment: “What need is there to weep over parts of life? The whole of it calls for tears.”

    Besides that is a pretty epic way to die.

    I think that was the only calculator that anyone was allowed to use on tests in my entire university. But it might just of been the Maths dept.

    Not that hundreds of other calculators did not work just as well and not allow you to cheat.

    Does it matter how it got that way? It obviously has dystopian future government themes. And maybe they edited it into a parody, without setting out to make one, but it is a parody.

    Have you never watched the movie? I really could care less of how the book was, the movie is obviously a parody, and a loko at a dystopia future government. This is not a discussion, it is not like their is any question.

    I don't understand why everyone dislikes showgirls, It is a great erotic film. In my opinion it could only be compared to wild things, it is so good. the story is nothing special, if you compare it to normal films, but it is head and shoulders above even the best porno.

    Twitter users are not a statistic or a phenomenon to be measured by Twitter itself.
    Twitter easily knows exactly how many active users it has.

    And considering that the magnitude is enough to half evaluations of its potential income/the value of the company itself, I would call that significant.

    So standing on a street corner in lingerie, with a sign saying "I am a prostitute, pay me money for sex", is not entrapment?

    You can change the sign to employ more cloudy euphemisms, or select different clothing without changing how "active" the prostitute is being.

    That is how SOME/most quakes happen. There are not that many plate meeting places, but a lot of areas where there are earthquakes.

    I think the theory here is that the only factor that is building up pressure is the injection of gasses/liquids.
