There is still the problem of all the images they already took. Those images are probably stored on a server somewhere. Now is not the time to rejoice, the job isn't finished yet. We, the people, need to demand the destruction of those images.
Someone I know received one of these and I got the chance to look at it.
I connected with my phone and found the gateway, out of curiosity, I attempted to telnet into the device.
A connection was established, and I guessed admin:admin.
I was then greeted by busybox.
I was a little surprised by the lack of security on this device, but excited at the prospects..
I agree.
I've been running this for a while now, and haven't had any issues. It comes with dd-wrt, but you can upgrade if needed.
As for performance, it can handle 20 simultaneous connections all streaming youtube(not the best test.. ) without any issues, while other stuff is going on. The range is great on it also.
"but the X300 marks the most significant change in its design"
did you miss the x41? you know the tablet. yeah, I would think that the whole swivel-touchscreen would be the most significant change. look; after that they have released more tablets following the major change that occurred in the x41. it isn't all that strange for an ultralight either, there have been a lot of tiny thinkpads. yes this one does have a wide screen, but they have had other wide-screen thinkpads too.
if you ask me, yes the some changes are there, but far from the most significant changes the thinkpad line has seen.
They have this in Germany and it is horrible. I think it is one of the worst things they can do to the internet. If they do end up switching to this method, I hope that some other providers will pop up. Hey maybe they will even use ipv6.
I just hope they don't switch to this method.

1UP. I was just going to suggest this, but you beat me to it. I asked myself the same question, and ended up buying the IOIO board. It works. :)
