You have to admit he should have been expecting this. Breaking a US superpower corporation's encryption makes the US superpower corporation feel like thier penis isn't big enough, and they flex thier wealth to get you. What this dude should have done is: ENCRYPT THE FUCKING SHIT OUT OF HIS FILESYSTEMS
Let the governing body puzzle over the nonsensical bits for YEARS, and never get in. You have the right to remain silent (not tell them how to get in). Released after 24 hours of detainment because no charges are laid. Disappear from your native country (this is where mitnick screwed up, if i was in his position i would be in mexico like yesterday)
Actually they also explain in the article that the formation of gas as the products of the detonation also enhance the explosion, as a larger volume of hot gas escaping the small initial blast is what is so destructive (the gas escaping the blast has the density of steel) so slapping nitro groups on the carbon skeleton enables the formation of N2. The ring strain is really just an avenue for dinky organic chemical substitution reactions, not blowing up school busses full of infidel's children...
Actually if you investigated the history of IE and how Micros~1 hides product updates inside other less attractive software packages, you would realize exactly what I'm describing. If you had a version of Windows 95 4.00.950 or 4.00.950a, it did not support FAT32. If you installed IE4 on it, it asked if you wanted large drive support. Hell yes most people said. This is where they beta tested thier FAT16-FAT32 converter, way back then. It is this botched install that created the destroyed partitions. LOL IE4 repartitioning hard disks? YES.
As for burning down the house, well I may set your house on fire in order to get that filthy IE5 out of your system.
Too late, Wal Mart has shit itself all over the fucking place here. Hell even the fat ugly people who "shop" there look like americans. God help us. At least if the USA took over BC we could lose this welfare society attitude.
Ha Ha see what you posted is off thier web site, its a mix of what they like to call "minimum requirements" and "recommended requirements". Check this out off my pirated copy of win2k "pro" final (no im not running it as an OS)
Before you install Windows 2000, make sure your computer meets the following minimum hardware requirements:
* 133 MHz Pentium or higher microprocessor (or equivalent). Windows 2000 Professional supports up to two processors on a single computer. * 64 megabytes (MB) of RAM recommended minimum. 32 MB of RAM is the minimum supported. 4 gigabytes (GB) of RAM is the maximum. * A 2 GB hard disk with 650 MB of free space. If you're installing over a network, more free hard disk space is required. * VGA or higher resolution monitor. * Keyboard. * Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device (optional).
See the part about minimum ram amount supported! hahahahahaha
They are NOT talking about a window manager for the X Windowing System. The guy's job or the magazine or whatever his suit-job is, is what they are talking about. There is a link in the little blurb for a reason. This amazing hyperlink will take you to the article, which you can read first, then post comments on it in the slashdot forum. -----------------------------------------------
The Window Manager 1999 Product of the Year is Linux.
"Why," you might ask, "would a known Windows sympathizer give an award to a product that competes with Windows NT?"
Linux wins because it's challenging Microsoft's No. 1 server software position.
OpenBSD notes on the Canadian Export Control List Here is a link to where Marc Plumb has drawn some general conclusions about exporting crypto from Canada It appears that crypto that is public domain has absolutely no restriction as far as the Canadian Government is concerned, but if it originated from the USA, then it has to be approved, and if its not public domain (free) then a permit must be acquired. Interesting to see that the US gov has charged people for exporting crypto from Canada. (Canadian and american?) Oh, and I'm a high tax paying Canadian myself.
I had to diagnose and fix a hosed IE4 install. It seemed that IE4 had repartitioned the users hard disk, and crashed in the middle of it, leaving 2 non-dos partitions that were unreadable, and unrecoverable. Fuck IE. With trojans like that, imagine what it would do to a linux system.
Hmmm, I wonder how many people actually read through all the above.:)
I did. It took me over an hour on hold to get from the @home answering service to the @home account guys just to cancel my account. The receptionist kept coming on the line to express her surprise that I was waiting that long. Apparently in an effort to thwart me from cancelling my account and thus maintaining thier profit, not letting me talk to someone about cancelling it was thier plan. (I had to cancel as I was moving out of the area)

When I had rogers@home in the vancouver bc canada area, i receieved at least 1 portscan a day from the @home admins. My solution? Set up a nazi ruleset for ipchains that denied all connections from any 24.* and log everything, so I can ban further intrusive ip's. Just for the record, my ip was static, although in the interior of bc, the shaw@home service is not.
Now I know about the Mountain Dew having no caffeine (I'm Canadian, and a chemist to boot!) but back in University, I drank copious amounts of Jolt, in the tall extra big bottles. I drank so much I had mild hallucinations and delerium. I'm pretty sure this stuff had caffeine in it. Right on the bottle it says "all the sugar and twice the caffeine" in reference to other popular cola's.
Still coping with caffeine addiction after 2 years
2.4 gigabits per second wow thats fast hardware. So setting this record proves that windows 2000 has drivers for the hardware capable of this speed. What about the commercial unix's? What about NT4? What about linux and *bsd? Hmm so this isnt a Win-2-gay trophy per se, its just a marketing convenience that Win-2-gay was used. Mindcraft: We Shall Never Forget
Why don't they use Open BSD? Its not a USA product, being developed in The Great White North(tm) (Canada) whose government could give a shit about putting backdoors in thier countrys software (like the usa) and dont try to thwart really strong encryption efforts with Gestapo techniques (like the usa).
The thing is that you NT puppets have a different definition for "uptime". From my observations, a Linux uptime is how long a box can go powered on, on the same kernel, not being rebooted ever, for any reason. NT uptime is how long it goes without crashing (ie: bluescreen), and this does not count for preventative reboots, and service pack applications, and network setting changes. So this guy may actually be right, his NT hasnt crashed for 4 years, but every morning it gets rebooted.
If it makes you feel any better Joe Computer, I didnt get laid on New Years Eve. Oh and a few years back I DID quit a job that required me to work on New Years, and it wasnt even special like YK2.
There was IDE wierdness concerning geometry, I spent a few hours trying to get a 36gb ide drive to partition to no avail, on 2.2.13. Sure enough on some mailing lists it was said that 2.2.x has some bogus geometry problems so that big-ass disks are seen as ~2gb. 2.2.14pre? and up fix this. Thanks for fixing it too.
I meant the distributed effort known as RC5, it was a play on words if you will. I thought your god's company encouraged thinking outside the box, something that you seem to lack skill in.
