    Yep, what's wrong with page up/page down? If the text is properly formatted into paragraphs it should work just as a specially made page-centric site.

    Additionally you could sort posts by the time of the last post in the tree. I.e. we have A with replies A1, A2 and B with replies B1 and B2... if B2 appeared after A2 then put B,B1,B2 first and A,A1,A2 last

    OK, I agree except that I think 400$ are worth it if it means you might get to keep your home. I mean it's 400$ or living in rent, buying another house, staying at friends/families... or possibly getting radiation poison for those that choose to stay.

    It's called the Bernouli effect and it causes the trains to get sucked into each other. That's why you are supposed to slow down when going alongside another vehicle in the opposite direction. Too much speed + too little distance might slam you in the other one.

    Yes, I'm going to try XFCE and LXDE but I don't think I'll like it... KDE spoiled me with customization options :D

    (It's not _that_ bad, I can still work pretty OK on it but 7 was snappier on it and XP even better). I actually have XP installed in a VM in on Kubuntu and sometimes it works better than the outer UI.

    It's better but (I use it on linux) it's still too fucking slow. My 1Ghz Atom netbook struggles with it even though I lowered the settings to minimum. The UI should not slow down the computer... never.

    I'm more curious why do they need to control everything from 1 computer? What's wrong with a simple keylock or if that's too 'medieval' for you, a standalone code lock? Also, why are the showers and everything electronically controlled? That's something most homes don't have.

    I bought a 10m or 30ft cable for about 20$ from the store near me. There were cheaper ones too but I thought they could be badly made or something. In retrospect, I probably should've bought the cheap ones...

    No way, any decent programmer would think if this even if "hacking" wasn't popular at the time. If not for security, at least to protect the system against user error e.g. the user entering the url by hand (maybe he's an idiot that copied his url to a piece of paper to be able to log in from other computers).
