    I like the general concept here, but it isn't much more sustainable than sending up supplies.
    you still need to send up the raw material.

    now cool would be to make 3Dprinters work with materials refine-able from the surface of the moon or mars.
    instead of sending a new probe every few years, send a "Maker"
    it would have two parts.
    gatherer and a factory(with the 3Dprinter).

    transmit the new plans and away it goes.

    It doesn't create the pressure.
    forcing fluid in between the pressure faces of a fault basically lubricates it.
    it's releasing pressure that was already there.

    decades ago there was a case in Colorado where a government disposal well did this as also.

    it's not new.
    it's not necessarily bad, they just need to be more careful where and how they do it.

    After recently having my arm broke in more places than they could count in the xray and then rebuilt with plates and screws I think this is really cool.
    it's another option! another tool.

    I'm lucky that I got to keep my arm but it could have been the other way around.

    Just my .020001 USD from having been there.
