i had Oblivion running great around 1.1.25, but somewhere after that it wouldn't run it. i've read a couple posts where people are blaming the ATI drivers.
i understand his arguement, but i would think it would come down to logistics. they would have to use up all the resources not only on their home world, but their stellar system as well.
even then, they would be more likely to use an uninhabited planet like mars than have to deal with rogue aborigines(us)
Oblivion has been out for a while. my game box is build out of friends left overs. the graphics card is a ati hd 3870. not a sloucher, but rather out dated. btw, i have two but oblivion doesn't benefit from crossfire.
any effort to seed the martian atmosphere would at best be a temporary(ok, a few million years) improvement. Mars lacks the gravity to hold the atmosphere. what's more, the warmer the atmostphere the faster it will disipate off into space.
in the 3 billion years since the lakes existed, mars has reached an equilbrium.
Sounds Familiar, just like when people complain that the publishing industry has become like the movie industry, controlled by a select few. like when people complain that books cost too much. sound familiar,,,,. too many writers are having to turn to self publishing because the publishing industry is trying to play OPEC/MPAA.
when my favorite writers put out a book i buy it. they just don't as often as i'd like and the new writers that are getting fronted i'm not impressed by.
the Engineer side of me Ooooooooooh that's cool, the another part of my brain is wondering if it's such a great idea to make this stuff so accessible in this day and age.
but if you build it with the ability to engineer and modify/fabricate faster/newer engines as they go based on the real time data obtained in flight, then even without the resources of earth they should be able to increase their own speed. maybe not at the full 1%, but still.
this really depends more on if you are a contractor or direct emplyee.
Contractors go where the money is.
they tend to be nomads.
i realize that it may not be their intent to patent wardriving, but wouldn't that be covered by this?

has this been fixed?
my guess is it's logistics/transmission.
most US/land windfarms are west or midwest.
for the east coast they have to be out on the water to get a good steady wind.
we have lots of land based wind farms, but these are the first offshore.

we need a AFJ tag
not sure what is more funny, Vista/Win 7-style hardware acceleration, or that everyone else will continuing to support XP
and there has been no reform to the health care system.
just a legal requirement to be part of a broken insurance system.
fix it and people will be drawn to it.

anyway most new cards will crunch it just fine.
I have to agree with the lighten up part.
if this is the best they can do, then bring it on.
besides, i'm more of a Jackie Chan fan myself
and how would the TSA take it if someone played a prank on them at a security check point.
the prankster would be in jail.
the guy got off easy.
and to make this work does the mp3 phone home or does it require a new player that phones home.
interesting but, this sounds vague enough to be part of an election campaign.
personally, i would have used a gorilla suit
looks like the debian logo to me.

for the most part i agree with him, but what did they say?
Start him off with fortran.

are they part of the EU?
if so will they have to follow the new 3 strikes rule?
not only is it a great idea, it should have been a requirement before the bailout.
what i read is that they will not sue users of 2.0
what about after that when the tech becomes entrenched
