And teach them also how to avoid the scorpions if they should fall into any pitfalls, and also the value of poorly drawn vines in passing pools of poorly rendered crocodiles.
Something that I DO like about it is the way it handles networking of sound. I have a 5.1 surround system hooked up to my main box, and every machine in the home office (my dev box, my wife's Ubuntu box, and my little girl's Ubuntu box) can play audio through the surround system just as if the audio were being played on the main machine.
The music files are served of a k6-500 Debian fileserver.
It is nice being able to sit in the living room playing music using my wife's laptop, with the music being served by a different machine and played through the 5.1 surround system with no wires whatsoever being connected to the laptop.
It is, IMO, well worth the occasional problems with Flash audio (which are the only hiccups I ever experience, literally.
I want to set up a spidering search engine of my own on a box here at home, using ADP or something similar.
Any idea what the legal ramifications of this might be?
The problem is that I am afraid that it might index something illegal. Would rather not have kid porn crap being accessed from the IP of my cable modem.
What is to keep someone from carrying a USB stick full of questionable porn and bomb recipes into the home or office of an enemy and copying same to the enemy's hard drive, and then diming them out from a payphone?

Pulseaudio has some issues, for sure.

This has been a public service announcement.
"XBox... yeah it is fun, but DOES IT BLEND?"
Chaotic Neutral was always the best alignment IMO.
Balance is more important than law.
Potato, potatoe.
It means that you have to work harder to justify your pay rate.
Hell yeah.
The FCC needs to butt out.
Web 3.0 - Government owned and sponsored, with (shoddy) filtered service provided by private companies. They could call it "Minimum Internet".
Not I, said the sane man.
Would much rather pay out the ass for private service.

That is why I bought a "Jumping To Conclusions Mat(tm)".
When I read the headline I thought this was some sort of McCain joke.

That combination made me puke a little bit in my mouth.

That's what she said!
Oh... uhhh, nevermind.

As a LIMP stack, it is only about 3 inches.

Oh wow.
Your ideas intrigue me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.
The accurate term is normal parents.
According to what I see every day, "normal" parents are on the creationism bandwagon.
A better adjective for the boy's parents might be "worthwhile" or "active-minded".

Seriously.
How many of you sign up for any public forum with your real personal info?
I don't when I can avoid it, which is pretty much all the time.
What happens when the website owners tell the court that the party in question appears to be

Epic fail.
Good answer.
Been relying on Joomla pretty heavily since 1.5 came out, might have to check out Drupal.
Got any instructional Drupal URLs to recommend?
(Note to all the "justgoogleit" folk: Google presents options, it does not give recommendations.)
Have you tried Joomla?
What are the advantages of Drupal over Joomla?
