Blogs can make a good starting point for finding info on something but overall they generally only post stuff that doesn't appear in papers or news channels because they lack the quality control or journalistic integrity of news organisations.
A regular dehumidifier that drains into a commercial water filtering pitcher with a UV light beside it might be a workable solution for people on a budget.
I don't know if there are any good kits for steam distillation at home, can anyone point me to one?
Using it for a day-to-day personal planner is genius. Depending on your operating system and desktop software, you could concievably run it on a local server and set it as your desktop wallpaper.
I use a combination of Taskfreak and Webcal to schedule updates and to keep track of updates and changes to over 70 websites, and the access controls are fine enough to allow hirelings to use it as well. The comments feature is handy for version control of site scripts, and the whole structure of the script is logical and simple.
There are quite a few other groupware and scheduling apps but most of them are way too feature-rich or they cost money that could be put to better use buying ad space or paying designers.
Webcal is good for scheduling simple recurring tasks or appointments, with very low overhead and solid options for email notification. If only it supported SMS...

And in the meantime...?
And in the meantime...?
If a Muslim terrorist died and went to paradise to meet 72 virgins, there would be 73 people in paradise with no fucking idea what to do.
Sorry, you lost me at "like".
Can I get a car analogy?
Does your mother eat sugar substitutes such as aspartame or sodium saccharine?
You know, the whole thing about buggy-whip makers...
I, for one, welcome our new buggy-whip-wielding dominatrix overlords.
...nude nun calendars...
I find your ideas intriguing and wish to receive your newsletter.

the value of a buggy whip is $0 for me, because I have no use for one.

Doesn't that thing look just like John Mayer?
I KNEW it!
Only a robot could be that precise on a guitar!
Taskfreak rules.

2: Turn the calculator upside down so that it reads "BOOBS" and laugh maniacally.
3: ???
4: Profit!
Oh, snap!
Oh, snap.
I rolled a buddy's truck shortly after high school and didn't pay for it.
The classmates.com people don't have names like "Tony" or "Vinny", do they?
What kinda code you looking for, sailor? ;)
On a side note, how many of you ever use something like httrack to make a static mirror of a website?
Forever, and ever, and ever.
This is terrifying.

I mailed that movie to my Fox News and NASCAR watching brother-in-law.
He got offended.
Trying to paint all of the founding fathers with one broad brush stroke is a mistake.
Then how many brushes are we supposed to use?
I bet you are one of those "over-achievers" we keep hearing about.
