    Why isn't this modded Flaimbait? Metallica (The Black Album) features several good tracks, like "The God that Failed" and "The Unforgiven", but that's just my opinion.

    If you have a USB keyboard for your laptop, check out Frets on Fire. PC FreeWare version of Guitar Hero using a keyboard for a guitar. Comes with an app to import Guitar Hero songs.

    Maybe this is a sensible design, and there is a software front end to the driver which passes a key you specify to the processor to encrypt data (with all the trimmings; keyfiles, salt, entropy etc), but all the enc/dec overhead is handled on-chip, not in main memory.

    Kind of like accessing a TrueCrypt volume on a networked machine, if you catch my drift.

    Then again, none of these devices seem to have been thought out properly... I'll stick to TrueCrypt volumes and cheap external drives (which, by the way, are more than responsive enough to access DVD video and high quality OGG audio from).

    DVD's I own, and OGG from Jamendo.com, obviously.

    I work in a school as an IT Tech.

    If they even suggest this may be a possibility in the UK, i'd be writing to my Union rep that second.
     
    If it became law, i'd walk out that second and get a bar job.
     
    Once i'd explained what this would actually meant to all the teaching staff, anyway. Walk-outs are easier when 60% of the workforce agrees with you.

    The surface isn't just ground, but also polarised. It helps reduce the diffusion of light passing through the matte coating, but doesn't eliminate it.

    One person achieving without enhancing therapies what someone else needs enhancing therapies to achieve does not lessen the achievement of either party.

    All it means is that twice as many people are capable of achieving the same goal. In this case, it's performing highly complex and detailed scientific analysis.

    Isn't that a good thing?
