Quote from boonerings.com FAQ- "Q: What about cutting off a titanium ring in case of an accident? A: The very first thing when I started making titanium rings is cut them off of my own finger by different methods. Titanium is about as hard as steel, so things that cut steel such as a hacksaw or Dremel tool can be used. Titanium has a reputation of being stronger than steel. It's not necessarily so. It's the high strength to weight ratio that is the reason it is used in aerospace applications. I've had a customer that did have to get one cut off. They were able to remove it without a problem, and she ordered another titanium ring! "
We once had this contract UNIX guy,who insisted on be called Obi-wan, actually I didn't even know his real name. His van would be in the parking lot, even when I got there early, but he would roll out of the back of it about 5 mins after 8 everyday in a cloud of smoke. But it didn't matter because he had mad skillz and could acomplish in a day what it would take the rest of us together a week. So I say, call him Obi-wan, make sure not to take lunch in the back of his van and enjoy the show.
Give this website a try. Lots of info and reviews on many different remote styles. I bought my 'Crisp Solutions UCommand 515' after checking out the reviews there. They were pretty much right on. The few things they didn't like I think suck too(no hard buttons for one), but over all a nice remote.
Hey, I'm going to buy the bundle, if it has some games I want. If this also includes some games I don't have an interest in, I will sell them to the neighbor kids. I save some money buying the bundle and I sell what I don't want. Win, Win!

I can't say enough about this programming language. It's relativly straight forward, runs on most platforms, and best of all it's free. There are some good python books out as well. But I can't think of a better way to get a newbies feet wet than this. Python. Good luck and happy coding.
I know I will catch some flak for this but there is an alternative, that does have some advantages. Dish Network is selling a sattelite reciever that has the hard drive built into it. This gives it several advantages - no second unit, it records the program uncompresssed as it comes in from the sattelite that's right baby DIGITAL not analog, which means a better picture, and also if the program originally was brodcast with Dolby Digital you will have that. The listings for the service are downloaded from the satteltie each eveing and are for seven days, the TiVo get these over the phone line which is slow and may have to be interupted. It still gives you the ability to pause live TV, record a program once or for the season(which only record the episodes that are on that channel at that time) It also cost less - you get the Dish 500 sattelite dish(dish network has a large number of local networks available), receiver with hard drive, internet with WebTV(BOO!) all for $399. Now for the *GROANS* It does record for only about 12 hours(but remember it's digital), and it has WebTV built in but you do not have to sign-up for the service. I've had mine for about 3 months now and couldn't be happier.
