    (They happen to be vBulletin and Acmlm boards. Google for 'em)

    But then they wouldn't have the added revenue (not net profit) from it each year. And I'm assuming that they're going to run it for a couple of years. Even if they only make half as much due to # of subscriptions, it evens out in a few years, and then the rest is profit.

    I think we finally found step 2.

    Step 1: Make a game
    Step 2: Charge monthly fee.
    Step 3: Profit!

    NWN doesn't officially support persistant worlds, and I don't think the mods are there yet.

    BG2 can be played in multiplayer, just like NWN.

    My copy of D2 doesn't have installs for Mac on it, neither does my WC3.

    Doesn't Sony make DVD+R based drives, as opposed to DVD-R?

    Although, I didn't think ANY burned CD/DVD would play in a PSX/PS2. I've only done it with games, and that's with a mod chip.

    Concert is in New York, I live in Germany. How the FUCK am I supposed to get there easily? I'm not dropping a multi-hundred dollar plane ticket and hotel fair to see a concert. If I liked the artist that much, I'd buy a CD off of him, directly.

    Theres your problem right there. The more files you share, the more it has to index them, which as stupid as it sounds, takes up a fuckton of RAM.

    iPAQ isn't that heavy either. Sure my Palm M105 is a ton lighter than it, but I was using my coworker's iPAQ, and It's not noticeably alot more heavy. He even carries it around in his pockets, like I do with my Palm. Must be because we don't wear slacks, but wannabe raver-type clothing :P

    Unless you're under 21, and even then, you still live at home while making "almost 3x as much as they do at their real McJobs?" I think you should rent out an apartment or something.

    I do agree with you about people in general complaining about getting "real jobs." I'm still in HS, with no formal experience, but I make the same at the grungy computer shop where I work as my older sister does working as a doctor's aide/nurse type person with 4 years of college learning, as well as 3+ years of experience.
