You'd need to factor in disability too. We hide a ton of unemployment in those numbers. My family is from eastern KY and WV... no work? Coal down? Disability time.
"Growth" to an MBA means net profit. If you fire a bunch of people and don't have to pay their salaries then in the very near-term you make more money. Cutting a bunch of sales staff though doesn't seem like the best way to fuel growth in the longterm... You lose them, the relationships they've built with their customers.. I'm sure it makes sense to someone.
Recent studies have shown that in the US the average man of any age has about half his grandfathers testosterone level. It would be interesting to see if Japan faces an even steeper decline among its males.
Typically when appraising a company for purchase you'd do something like multiply out by at least 5 years. If you look at their trajectory and they've been growing year over year this might be a low price.
Apparently there are a lot of states where workers make quite a bit less. I always assume being in rural Kentucky with very low cost of living that other areas pay better. I'm not sure how accurate this is because I have several friends and a brother in law that do quite a bit better than this but here is a map for Iron workers for instance that includes all states link
Well I know several guys in road construction and they do very well and they get winter off. I don't think I live in an especially affluent area -Kentucky. If you are building houses you will make very little as a laborer competing against Hispanic labor but union road construction is severely under manned right now and they really need people but can't find kids wanting to go into the trade. I don't know what the best site would be for checking median salaries but here is one: https://www.glassdoor.com/Sala...
Respectfully, this is really bull. At least in the US. Life expectancy is great in the US unless you feed yourself garbage and you can easily get a job with any construction crew making a good living even with no education. We're talking 60-90k a year and you can retire in 20 years which is really pretty decent most areas. Other than construction there is plumbing, electrical work etc. Life is good in the US. It is only entitled youngsters that don't really want to work for a living that have a problem with it. Ironically, the only thing you likely will have trouble finding is work in a factory. Your comment probably has merit if you live in China.
Regardless cold weather apparently is much more harmful to humans than hot weather so on balance... I'm not sure it is worthy of concern. The true enemy of mankind
It is the ability of Western civilization to countenance the heretic that allowed it to come to dominance and usher in the modern world. The Islamic world stagnated and began to revert because once Muslims became a majority in the territory they controlled they were able to prevent any research and discussion of any topic that challenged the orthodoxy. The same for Asia, everything was top down and autocratic. The west exists today because of our ability to tolerate "extremist" views. I realize some content needs to be removed but this should be restricted to glorification of the most extreme violations of the rights of others and nothing more.
Policies like this need to be very narrow and specific and have a human to human process of appeal.
Actually he's had us working on a virus that edits a few select genes of the target population -thanks crispr. 90% of the male children born to those in a certain part of the world will be homosexual over the next 20 years. It was a pretty fabulous plan.
Russia is not a threat to the US.. they're not even comparable as an economic power to the US, China or the EU. They would have to make significant structural changes to compete and grow economically and if they did that... then they wouldn't be ideologically opposed to the west so still no threat. The establishment was aghast at Trump winning and this is the boogieman to whip us up into a mob mentality to support a (metaphorical since it would be legal) coup.
Honest questions here... Is the majority opinion then that we would have preferred to remain ignorant of the DNC activities until after the election was decided? If not, was the DNC hack "just deserts" and our main concern propaganda separate from the DNC hack?
I doubt there has been an election in the last 60 years in the US or Russia that the other party hasn't influenced to some degree.
Stop subsidizing corn for corn syrup and ethanol. Make antibiotic use in grain lots illegal. Re-introduce large herds of ruminants to the areas that are no longer profitable to grow grains on. You know, like the Bison and others that actually created the great plains.
I remember reading about turning the other cheek but I don't recall anything about handing your wife or daughters over to be raped. Then again, I'm not super familiar with the bible.
Apologies for replying to my own thread but I do have to acknowledge that that US position on this to this point (not sure in 2017) has actually been worse. Ban on non-Muslims: http://www.newsweek.com/us-bar...
Good luck with that. Assyrian Christians and Yezidis are basically victims of genocide at this point but Trudeau and the liberal party in Canada have taken the opposite approach from the previous administration and reversed course on accepting them.
I am sorry, but with language like that, I have to assume you have a political agenda. i.e. I don't take you seriously.
I don't think that is fair. Most any scientist will tell you that the entire process of publication and review is political. Have you ever heard the quote from Max Planck "science advances one funeral at a time"?
Most of my time is spent answering questions. I think I end up doing most of my work between 5-6PM once everyone has gone home but I still enjoy coming into the office. I wouldn't want to work from home.

Well this is a pretty sketchy unit of measurement then. One sol = our sun but our sun is decreasing in mass by 6 x 10 to the 12th grams every second.

There is bitchute but I don't know how many actually use it.

Wait, does that mean that cannibalism is vegan as long as the meal is provided willingly?

but that seemed to help Hillary quite a bit so I assumed it was more "home cooking" DNC stuff.

Never travel through Philadelphia airport when coming from an international flight.
Wow. Not much love or sympathy in this group.

So we count this as the same species even though the skulls (and presumably brain) are dramatically different?
