Well, first of all, you can't copyright a term like that. Copyrights are for artistic works, i.e. much longer than one word.
Second of all, if it was a protected term, it would be a trademark, which would show up in the USPTO database if it has been registered. If a trademark hasn't been registered, and not revealed to the public, then it isn't protected yet.
There have been attempts to provide ubiqutous Wi-Fi access commercially in the SF area, I think, where there's a whole lot more tech savvy people, and yet they went under. It might be this is a service that corporations cannot render in a profitable way.
You can make games in Java and Flash right now, but there's a reason most developers don't. If you want to be somewhat technologically up to date with your game, which granted, not every developer needs or wants, you have to stick with something high performance.
"If you can develop a game that looks good on a mac but will run on Linux/Windows/etc, why the hell not do so?"
Support, I'd say. Supporting all the crazy PC configs under Windows is one thing, where there's a huge market to compensate for the hassle, but doing it under Linux is another matter entirely. Mac is a lot easier, so I'm with you on that one. If you could just say "you're on your own" to the Linux users, that'd be one thing, but if you're selling a product that's not really feasible.
"So, you can guarantee from now on that because you heard about this accident and read that this man should be punished, that you will be less likely to have a traffic accident?"
Can you guarantee you're not going to die from a heart attack? The way you posed that question is intellectually dishonest all around. The man just said it is not an accident if you contribute directly to it, but you must've missed that part.
It freakin sucks that they are raping the Close Combat franchise for this. CC2 is one of my favorite games. Why didn't they just mod Counter Strike and call it Counter Strike: Marine Corps?
Hydrogen cars exhaust water, it doesn't run on water. Unless you're planning to produce electricity from hydro, then produce the hydrogen from that. Btw, there isn't enough hydro energy to cover the nation's energy use today, and even less so if you need even more to replace oil generators AND gas for cars.
You'd crush the seeds to extract the oil. If you've ever tasted sunflower seeds, or any kind of seeds, you'll notice they are a little bit greasy. That's the oil. Many types are pretty low in oil ratio, but some like rapeseed, canola and mustard seed are pretty high. Numbers are available with some googling.
I'm pretty sure it said lay offs, not expiration of contracts. You don't fire an architect after the project is done, because the contract is already up.
Well, if you're going for bare concrete walls, you're into the industrial look anyway, and you should be able to abide by having wires run across the walls. Put them in a stainless steel hose and it'll look pretty neat. If you're going to cover the walls with sheet material, you'd run the wires behind the wall as usual.
They can't. With the current policy they can keep on pretending to be tough on immigration, with paradoxial rules and a byzantine paper-based beaureaucracy, while still providing the economy with hundreds of thousands of cheap illegal laborers. This way they don't have to face the inevitable criticism from anti-immigration advocates, and immigrants can't vote anyway so who cares if they suffer.
"And you know it's shitty how?"
"my loyalty lies elsewhere anyway."
It's not called PStwo. It's called Playstation 2, or PS2 if you prefer.

From all the businesses clamoring to provide Wi-Fi access? Umm, I can't think of one. How about you?

You're thinking of a chandelier. Sorry for the interruption! Carry on!

Yea, good idea. They could call it something like "Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel". :-P

Having a PC version doesn't matter as far as console exclusives go. Final Fantasy is available on the PC, but it's still considered a PS2 exclusive.
I need a stay awake room.

Umm, has a cop ever checked your gas tank? Anyone? Bueller?
They recycle vegetable oil?? Right, tell me what restaurants are using recycled oil please. I'm not eating there!

As opposed to using a normal Cessna that costs less and can carry more?
Yea, that movie "Water World" sure was mesmerizing. ;-)
Rendezvous with Rama movie
That's an Arthur C. Clarke book though, not Larry Niven.
If you look closely in the right light, you can see that the regular Xbox is a very dark green color.
A fascist message and nubile young women in the nude? I think he would've been real happy with it. :)
For the record, I think the fascist theme was a subtle parody.
