Yeah, but it all happens on Blizzard's servers. Couldn't they, say, log all player-to-player gold transfers? Then, after locking on the "free" account, they could trace it back to actual gold farming accounts easily. Every paid accounts is, well, paid for, so if this technique was applied consistently, that should soon put gold farmers out of business.

Perhaps a few decades of living under communism would have given them a better perspective, but I am not sure they would be glad for the experience.

Well, if someone drives a small car every day and uses a SUV only when he really needs it, then it is all good. But the whole point is, vast majority of SUV owners use them for everyday driving as well. THAT is what we are all flaming about:)
