But as far as I can tell from reading that article, no password was every compromised. Most of the passwords were reset using other information (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.), and tricking clueless phone support people. So why use this example as a reason to get rid of passwords, when the passwords weren't really the problem in the first place?
I'm not sure I get your 'sarcasm'. I never said that a criminal will go out and do illegal things just for the hell of it. My point was that making something illegal will not suddenly make a criminal not want to do whatever is now illegal. You know, like carrying and selling drugs.
You'll either refrain from responding, or repeat it.
Eh, I'll go ahead and repeat it... a... little... more... slowly...
Drugs like cocaine are illegal to posses.
You can be arrested on the spot for having them.
Drug dealers carry them anyway.
So, why do you think making another item (guns) illegal will make criminals stop carrying that item?
If you could provide evidence that cops routinely arrest drug dealers with weapons that are actually illegal then you'd be able to prove me wrong.
...criminals do not want to be arrested for carrying a weapon that's clearly illegal.
Bear with me as I finish wiping all of the soda I just spit all over my screen while reading that statement.
There, all done. Let me see if I follow your logic here. A 'criminal' (by definition someone who does illegal things), would not carry a weapon because it is... illegal?
I'm pretty sure the dad would let him use his address if it meant getting a job. Sheesh, I wish people would think for more than five seconds before posting 'problems' like these...
Okay if managment wants to lay off 200 people to give themselves a bonus this year (and lots of companies do something similar) then great that is what a union is there for.
If management wants to make that decision, why should they unions get to veto it? If management wants to make a shortsighted decision, that's their prerogative.
.. The problem with unions is they can't protect jobs.
And there lies the problem with unions. Why are they protecting 'jobs'? Shouldn't they be protecting the workers in those jobs? Trying to force employers to keep useless jobs is just going to drive that employer into bankruptcy. Who gains from that?
What's the difference? Are you saying that there is a different procedure for removing a trespasser depending in if it is a public vs. private place? Both are trespassing.
Well, I'm just going to come over to your house and hang out as long as I damn well please then. I'm going to ignore the cops, and I will use the citations to wipe my ass while I crap on your couch.
I'll still never understand people that choose to come here but refuse to learn even some basic English language skills. Like "No" or "leave", etc. Why do you intentionally make life more difficult for yourself?
Although I suspect she is playing up the "I no speak English" bit to make it seem like she wasn't really trespassing or resisting arrest.
And what the hell was up with her doing the interview from her bed? Is she trying to act like she has been crippled by the taser or something?
My local JC (Santa Rosa, CA) offers a Liberal Studies Associate Degree that requires 42 units. At $46/unit, that works out to $1,932. Granted you will still need to buy books and things, but I'm not sure what the big deal is with this guy's cobbled together $3k degree. And I've heard that my local JC is considered one of the best in the state.
Ask Mexico how things went with generation after generation of one party rule. Notice how everyone is trying to get the hell out of there as fast as they can?
And, no, a 'security letter request' or whatever else they are calling it these days it not acceptable. If you think you have need of text logs for an investigation, go through the proper channels.
So, their big beef is that the building is being stereotyped? Man, we have officially run out of shit to bitch about...
But the cap would be allowed to rise automatically with demand...
Um, that is the exact opposite of a 'cap'.
I had a fullHarDon for years watching Kaley. I doubt I'll need to upgrade...
...taking a moderately exhorbitant chunk of the money transacted.
I allow 25-30% to PayPal for every transaction.
Seriously? That seems like a hell of a "moderately exhorbitant chunk" to me...
The article links to an example of a guy (Mat Honan) who had his accounts hacked into:

Including the possession cases, there are about 600 handgun crimes a year and 900 long gun crimes
A small number of craftsmen specialise in converting toy and model guns into working handguns for criminals.
..illegal guns are usually smuggled from overseas (especially from the Philippines and the United States) by organised crime gangs
And this is in the most gun-controlled country in the world.
If you're a drug dealer and six-shooters are illegal you won't carry one for two reasons.
So drug dealers will carry drugs (illegal), but not six-shooters (illegal)?
Do you even read what you type?

Who pays for the doctor visit? Also I now have to drag myself to a doctor's office and wait for who knows how long, rather than resting in bed?
I thought this too, but I read that an update to the law in 2009 gives state AGs the power to bring civil suits against offenders.

So all those people I see at shooting ranges shooting targets are using the guns improperly? Quick, someone warn them!

So, you really think there are 397 Republicans and zero Democrats in the House?
...GET A FUCKING WARRANT FIRST!

And here I thought it was just Republicans that were anti-science. Looks like the Dems are trying to join the club as well.
