I looked through a few of these '54 incidents', and some don't have anything to do with FOSS (GoDaddy.com advertising? A vitual rape on a MUD, over fifteen years ago?), and many others are so tame I'm amazed anyone bothered to report them (a guy asked if the audience would rather search for a victoria's secret lingerie model, or a swimsuit model?)

    This is pretty weak evidence.

You don't know squat about US law, do you? It is up to the state to prove that you are a murderer. You only need to try to discredit the prosecution's evidence/theories. You never have to prove that you are innocent.

In fact, you technically don't need to present a defense to be acquitted. If the prosecution's evidence is flimsy enough, you can just stand up and state that the prosecution's case is insufficient to prove your guilt, and let the jury decide. I think you can even ask the judge to throw out the case out this point due to lack of evidence.

Last I checked, the US allows over one million legal immigrants into the country every year. If that's "anti-immigrant", then the government sucks at it.

...The solution isn't more border patrols on the Tex-Mex border,...

Wait, what does border patrol have to do with immigrants? Or are you now talking about illegal immigrants?

    ...They bring disease...

If you are talking about illegal immigrants, the problem is that they might very well be the source of these diseases. The problem is we can't tell for sure, since they have ignored our immigration laws and waltzed right in without being checked out by us.

Yeah, because teacher's unions would never get involved in the politics of education!

I'm not saying that unions caused the problems in the industries mentioned, just that they are an impediment to fixing them. And I found the OP assertion that the middle class is worse off due to lack of strong unions ridiculous.
