Okay, if you have 1000 scientists and the bottom 80 percent think global warming is the warm and fuzzy trend and the top 20 percent thinks it's a hoax, you could say there was a scientific consensus of sorts, but it would still be wrong.

Any idiot can follow, but it takes real guts to lead. My favorite quote was:

"It is a blatant lie put forth in the media that makes it seem there is only a fringe of scientists who don't buy into anthropogenic global warming." - U.S Government Atmospheric Scientist Stanley B. Goldenberg of the Hurricane Research Division of NOAA.

And in the scientific community, you cannot one day be for something and then the next day be against it without being labeled either wishy-washy or someone who doesn't fact check first (which leads to a serious credibility problem).

Realize that all non-profits have a board of directors who lays out the rules from which they wish to be associated with.

Additionally, accepting money from certain entities can jeopardize their 501(c)(3) status. For example, they can not accept money from political action committees.

  25. Exercise on Video Games Linked To Child Aggression · · Score: 1

The problem isn't video games, the problem is a lack of exercise. Schools by the tens of thousands are doing away with recess at the elementary level. At the middle and senior high school levels, lunches have been cut from a period ( 55 minutes ) to about 20 minutes.

When I was in school, we boys were always running out side to play some football, kick ball, dodge ball, or just to chase the girls.

Of course now you can't even chase the girls or that's harassment.

However, all this lack of exercise has got to build up excessive energy that has got to go somewhere - usually it's anger or aggression.
